Al Gore's popularity and his message is less accepted. NASA now predicts 30 years of cooling. Let's stop jumping on every band wagon. Global warming is a falsehood and the vast majority recognize it as such. As for natives we should leave them on their land and let them be. No more further intervention from the govt. Sounds over reactive...like global warming fear mongering.
This was a really interesting and good video. I am currently studying Archaeology at a University in Scotland. At the present moment I am learning about the Arctics indigenous cultures and I am finding videos such as these useful for revision. The music that went along with this was very good too. May I also ask what is the song titled?
Hey thanks for the video. Don't listen to all the haters out there, they are just mislead.... I am very interested in Inuit culture. I am a bit native American ( but not enough to really be called a native) ... thanks ! xD

this video/song is depressing! SAVE THE POLAR BEARS!! not the inuits ;) all the canadian gouverment have too do is make liquor illegal for them = less of a problem then educate the inuit population FOR FREE let the WHITEMEN pay for it
give them and all other the tabaco companies so it pays for they re education
Educated them in marinBio and acticBio « whtev its called so they can fix the POLAR bear problem!! = all problems sloved«« VOTE FOR ME 4 next canadian Prime :P
if you want us to vote for you ..it would be wise to educate yourself on the "real issues" it is the inuit that educates the white man and if it`s so depressing change it.
There is only a polar bear problem if you believe it to be a true statement but in reality it is your Consumerism in the south that creates the problems in the north

OK...it is all good. It is a good message...it is just that if all content is not as advertised....then the message also loses credibility for some. Nope...not Johnny here. I am good looking one...lol
The real cause of global warming is the world's tremendous demand for meat of cattle, etc. Please look at the web site godsdirectcontact(dot)org and read about it. Don't take my world for it...study and decide for yourself. Car and factories are not the main problem.
You guys used to leave your old people on a ice flow to die. You want to go back to that? The modern world ain't all that bad. You use the internet. Try to get your message out using smoke signals.
It was always the elder's decision to be placed on the floe edge. The Inuit respected their elders so much that they had no choice but to do what the elder wanted. And they never used smoke signals.
It is an unfortunate truth, that has evolved with colonial based civilizations that have gone through urban sprawl, industrialization, and progression that the citizens of these countries either do not care, are not a immediate concern for them, or the government and certain facets do not make efforts for public knowledge. The majority care about what is happening where they live and that is about it. Its when it affects them that care arises. By then it is too late.
I'm just curious. I respect the Inuits truly, but why would anyone want to live in a place so frozen and frigid? I'm OK with living in a place with snowy winters, but not snow year round.
Then again, not everyone likes warm weather. This just isn't a place I would want to live.
Didn't you know that typically ALL Natives of the Far North love and respect "Mother Earth"? I have been in and out of Alaska, Nature is stunningly beautiful! Clean, clear, fresh air! Crystal clear and pure rivers, with plenty of wild animals no matter where you roam... I feel close to The Great Spirit there, The Father (some say Grandfather) in the Sky. My soul finds rest and stimulation all at the same time... Topkok
So... where do you live? Cincinatti? Toronto? I imagine an Inuit person would say "why would anyone want to live there.. filthy, too many cars, crime-riddled, and no fresh meat or fish".
You probably live where you live because you were born there and it's the lace you were raised, among your family and culture. Same for them.
You need to travel more, and see the world. not everyone lives in a suburb and goes to the movies on weekends and eats microwaved burritos.
@RegaloDelMar2007 Toronto is the safety major city in North America and the people prefer bikes or public transportation. Toronto is also veruy clean and the world's most multicultural city. I would've used NYC as a better example.
Well sniperviper the concern is not so much with global warming as it is with corporate greed, over consumption and pollution of our soil, air and water.
We should encouraging the Inuit to retain their culture and way of life not impose another`s perception of what their life should be
