Global warming is a falsehood and the vast majority recognize it as such. As for natives we should leave them on their land and let them be. No more further intervention from the govt. Sounds over reactive...like global warming fear mongering.

This was a really interesting and good video. I am currently studying Archaeology at a University in Scotland. At the present moment I am learning about the Arctics indigenous cultures and I am finding videos such as these useful for revision. The music that went along with this was very good too. It was always the elder's decision to be placed on the floe edge. The Inuit respected their elders so much that they had no choice but to do what the elder wanted. And they never used smoke signals.

It is an unfortunate truth, that has evolved with colonial based civilizations that have gone through urban sprawl, industrialization, and progression that the citizens of these countries either do not care, are not a immediate concern for them, or the government and certain facets do not make efforts for public knowledge. The majority care about what is happening where they live and that is about it. Its when it affects them that care arises. By then it is too late.

I'm just curious. I respect the Inuits truly, but why would anyone want to live in a place so frozen and frigid? I'm OK with living in a place with snowy winters, but not snow year round.

Then again, not everyone likes warm weather. This just isn't a place I would want to live.

So... where do you live? Cincinatti? Toronto? I imagine an Inuit person would say "why would anyone want to live there.. filthy, too many cars, crime-riddled, and no fresh meat or fish".

You probably live where you live because you were born there and it's the lace you were raised, among your family and culture. Same for them.

You need to travel more, and see the world. not everyone lives in a suburb and goes to the movies on weekends and eats microwaved burritos.
