Orianthi you have inspired me once again. I have guitars but was discouraged when I couldn't complete a simple task. Then I saw you shredding the guitar in the Michael Jackson This is It tour. I was amazed and immediately got inspired to pick up the guitar again. So far my progress has been going well and my dream is to see you play and actually meet you :D keep doing what your doing Orianthi and thank you!

For every1 saying they can't play this riff.. It's not as hard as it looks. If you can play hammer-on/pulloff triplets quickly, you can do this with no problems. She just makes it difficult to immediately discern the notes because she doesn't slow it down and break up the phrasing enough. (I don't blame her. she's probably busy [either that or she doesn't want to give away her phrasing with an easy tutorial]). Just watch the video response by the guy above. He deconstructs the riff completely

You just need to train your ear, I learned it the first time, you just need to do it some times a bit slow so your fingers will get in place and then speed it up slowly.

this isn't a smart way to show licks...because a player that can understand the lick played at this speed probably don't need to learn a lick so basic and simple, he will just improvise a similar phrase if he want and a beginner can't learn it if you don't slow it down...

I got about 85% of it . . . I also included the low E string and worked my way back to the middle of the scale by using low E, G, A flatB, B, Dflat, D, G, A, A flat . . . not to improve on what she did because she's a beast . . . I put her up there with Hendrix and I don't do that often . . . this young lady is BAD . . . I wish that I had continued playing when I was a child . . . that's the best time to start and stay with it . . . I hope she doesn't get corrupted by the "business" . . .
