Is the Tornado BB reliable because in every video i see it in it says it was broken. Will it last a year or so if u don't go hard core? Please comment back to me. Thanks :D
It's a really reliable buggy, if you don't crash into anything, nothing will break. If you're into bashing then there is always a change of breaking something, always stock up on parts. But if you're just going to run on a track or something then it's a great little buggy for the price. Hope this helps.
I like them I think that they are great & pretty durable considering how inexpensive they are. Any parts for the cars would have to be ordered through Redcat or a handfull of dealers, you can't walk into any hobby shop & pick up parts because no one carries them, I usually order extra of parts that are most likely to need replacing. Fast?? They can hold thier own, but not like Jato fast. If they are tuned right you can probably get about 30-35 mph out of them.
They say that about a lot of RC's, but I could never get my buggy up to 60, 40 Maybe. The only RC that I have that I was able to pass 60 is my Jato & that I can get to about 65 if it's tuned properly. But I never run my RC's that fast since I mostly bash w/ them.
My brother has had one of these I think for 6-7 years now, and I remember about 6-7 years ago him, and my sisters boyfriend would race and what not, and I'm thinking about getting one. Which would you recommend for an area that is mostly desert. I mean a crap load of sands, and dunes. You think the truck, or the buggy would be better for this kind of area?
I think the truck would be better, but since it's a sandy area, I would recommend getting yourself a new set of tires also, They make some paddle tires that work great in the sand.
I have a Brushless Volcano and am thinking of getting either a Volcano SV PRO or Tornado BB (Maybe PRO). Can you think of any areas where the tornado struggles and the volcano succeeds?
Well, the Volcano is a truck & the torado is a buggy. The volcano can drive in places where the tornado can't, like off roading. The tornado is well suited for a track, dirt, or asphalt. The volcano will be great on these areas plus it goes through grass with little effort. & I like the way it handles jumping a little better thatn the tornado.
I really like the volcano, it's a really ruggid truck & performs really well. It is somewhat bigger than the tornado, it's a truck compared to a buggy. You can't beat these or any Redcat's for that matter, the best bang for the buck. You will not be dissapointed.
thanks, the Tornado BB is a real durable car, after I made the video I did not break anything, and I haven't broken anything, it handles jumps real well and unless you smash into something head on at like 40 mph you won't break a thing.
I like both of them & both of them are very durable, the buggy (Tornado BB) is faster than the volcano. As for which one to get, it's all about preference, do you want a truck or a buggy. Trucks are cool cause they can go where buggies can't, but buggies are a little faster. What I did was bought the truck, which I loved, then the buggy. Hope this helps.
