  • I have all of her available films on my website

  • imo the music (especially 6:40-7:00) doesn't fit with whats going on.It's way too dramatic for this scene.

  • I, too, have tried to search out any photographs of Clara after her exile from Hollywood....basically 1934 and onward....I have only seen one and that is the image of her at her husband`s funeral that took place many years later...her eyes are behind dark glasses....with a person on either side of her...it is quite a mystery how no photographs at all emerge from this long stretch of time...you would think maybe one or two candid family shots or something.... very strange...does anyone know more?

  • @corker99 Clara's schrizphenia became a lot worse and she hid herself in her ranch, seeing only her exhusband and children. The middle to end of her life is very sad. Runnin Wild is a fantastic biography.

  • Does anyone know where I can see some pictures of Clara Bow when she was in her 50's and early 60's?

  • She died when she was 60 years old,so you'd better limit your search for pics in her 50's

  • @SHIMMY956 yes, go look in the mirror...

  • Clara Started as a very Dramatic actress the Flapper just happened to exploit the Popularity she was coming into

  • Thank you very much.

(Wow the soundtrack is quite inappropriate at times: Non stop Mahleresque pathos, but that's okay.)

  • Don't forget to check out "Sunrise:A song of two humans"

    Mary-

  • If you do a search on this movie it's listed as being made in 1925.Just thought silent film fans might like to know that.

I LOVE silent films and suggest to anyone just getting into them to check this one and Broken Blossoms out. Also,Flesh and the devil.

    Mary-

  • An interesting film marred by a completely incongruous sound track.

  • You can't beat the early movies. I've given you five stars, please check out my silent movie memorabilia vids (includes Clara Bow)

    when you have time.

  • This is a bit shorter than the imdb runtime. Anyone know if it is missing footage or just playing somewhat faster than normal?

  • During the silent era, some films (or most of them) were sped up/or slowed down) depending on the mood of the story line and sometimes on the carelesness of the cameramen, but, anyhow, films are restored to the normal (whenever possible) speed to contemporary audiences and are presented now with the outmost respect that they deserve. But some films are longer because of this issue, and then again, because of footage which has beeen restored to the film.

  • Hey, why don't you download your films on google video? that way you won't have to break up our films into ten minuet blocks

  • I've a very soft spot for Mantrap. It's so quirky and affectionate, and in its own way quite daring. A suprise for people who think they know what the 'It' girl was all about.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! <33 I adore Clara so much and I can never find any of her films!

  • I'll be uploading some more of her films from my collection very soon. Anything in particular you'd like to see?

  • Anything.
