This is like the cops beating up the girl at Reagan National Airport in DC. There needs to be a federal overhaul of police brutality against women.
Police feel free to beat up whoever they want, even women and handicapped people. They just press false charges against them like Disorderly Conduct or Obstruction of Justice, after the beating, to make the police brutality look somehow justified.
We need to end police violence against women and the phony prosecution of victims now.

I hate to say it, but Yonkers has not benefited from increased diversity since the end of the 1980s. Take a look at Public School #14's academic records, which are online. And too many good people left Yonkers 20 years ago.
there is no "systemic" problem of police brutality in yonkers. and as far as "badge numbers" (they're called 'shield numbers' you TWIT), if you cannot remember a 3-digit number, then you do not deserve to file a complaint.
I applaud the coalition for speaking out about the problem of police brutality in Yonkers, and for suggesting some of the ways to address it. I urge those of us who disagree to do so with respect, and to take the steps necessary to address it in the manner they see fit, and I wish them well. Action, not criticism of those who act, is what will eliminate this cancer.
How can it be an epidemic if its only a few officers. What a weak contradictatory statement made by someone who is apparently afraid of criticizing his co-workers. If its only a few officers than there is no real problems. And when being treated unfairly you dont request ("were asking")you make demands. What a weak group. You guys either need to get some heart, or that group 100 Black men in Legal Enforcment!!!!
