This clip sounds so similar to a book by Klaus Baumgart, "Anna and the Little Green Dragon." In the book, Anna sees a little green dragon at the breakfast table who has made a mess. Then when Anna's horrified mother comes in, Anna says it wasn't her fault, the Little Green Dragon did it! Then Anna's mother shouts, "Anna, I've told you a thousand times there is no such thing as a dragon!" Then the dragon's mother appears asking if they have seen her son.

Does anybody see the similarities?
