The thing is that we (men) know that in order to beat a cold one has to shut down as completely as possible for a couple of days whereas you (women) haven't figured this out yet and therefore suffer with the cold for weeks. Our cold hits and stops our lives for 2-3 days and then it's gone until next year. Yours, on the other hand, drags on and on for weeks of complaining demands and bad moods.
