Correction: there were far more than 8 books in the Septuagint that aren't in the Protestant Bible. Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, Letter of Jeremiah, additions to Daniel , additions to Esther, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, 3 Maccabees, 4 Maccabees, 1 Esdras, Odes, including the Prayer of Manasseh, the Psalms of Solomon, and Psalm 151.
Prior to the 1500s, Protestantism didn't exist and Catholics had no fully official list of what was scripture and mainly used the Septuagint.
Even if, hypothetically, the individual books were divinely inspired (or at least based on true human/God interactions), the idea of "The Bible" as a collection of books given to humans by God is seriously challenged by the fact that God apparently didn't inspire anyone to make an official determination of the boundaries of that collection until the 1500s, and inspired different groups of Christians to set different boundaries.

Another problem is all translations go by the Council of Nicia and this means books are limited to what the Cardinals and Constintine agreed upon. This limits the definition of bible, christianity a Jesus. The Gospel of Thomas likely predates the gospels. It was refused because it challenged the clergy.

The modern texts generally follow a cut-down-the-middle between TR and Aleph/Vatican texts, determining from context which one is more accurate. The KJV is as inspired as the NASB is, only as far as they follow the original word of God.
@BereanBeacon1 As far as the KJV goes, the Textus Receptus which it is based on has shown evidence of commentary creeping into the text in few cases. It isn't infallible, and neither is the NASB, however I believe the NASB is much better because it sticks closer to the original words that the Holy Spirit inspired. In fact the KJV transliterated "baptizo" instead of translating to "immersion" to protect their false doctrines. Also "Passover" is mistranslated to "Easter"..

And billions of those people are good natured, loving people who just don't believe what you believe. Correction: there were far more than 8 books in the Septuagint that aren't in the Protestant Bible. Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, Letter of Jeremiah, additions to Daniel , additions to Esther, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, 3 Maccabees, 4 Maccabees, 1 Esdras, Odes, including the Prayer of Manasseh, the Psalms of Solomon, and Psalm 151.
Prior to the 1500s, Protestantism didn't exist and Catholics had no fully official list of what was scripture and mainly used the Septuagint.

Even if, hypothetically, the individual books were divinely inspired (or at least based on true human/God interactions), the idea of "The Bible" as a collection of books given to humans by God is seriously challenged by the fact that God apparently didn't inspire anyone to make an official determination of the boundaries of that collection until the 1500s, and inspired different groups of Christians to set different boundaries.
Bible, esp. Protestant Bible, was assembled in 1500s.

Jesus's words will ring true especially when its too late for the one that rejects Him. His Holy Spirit is on earth now and so man has time to draw near to God and know Him. There are far too many errors in the bible, and sections for which there is no, or contradictory, evidence, for the Bible to be accepted as a factual book.

@BereanBeacon1 Even the best modern translation loses something in translation, one translation is decent. Jesus was not a 1600's Englishman, King James has TWO translation problems. Another problem is all translations go by the Council of Nicia and this means books are limited to what the Cardinals and Constintine agreed upon. This limits the definition of bible, christianity a Jesus. The Gospel of Thomas likely predates the gospels. It was refused because it challenged the clergy.

@BereanBeacon1 I am not determined to be an apostate. I follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Westcott and Hort's doctrines were false, however no modern translations follow their text. The modern texts generally follow a cut-down-the-middle between TR and Aleph/Vatican texts, determining from context which one is more accurate. The KJV is as inspired as the NASB is, only as far as they follow the original word of God.

@BereanBeacon1 As far as the KJV goes, the Textus Receptus which it is based on has shown evidence of commentary creeping into the text in few cases. It isn't infallible, and neither is the NASB, however I believe the NASB is much better because it sticks closer to the original words that the Holy Spirit inspired. It also contradicts Johns previous teachings, as doed 2nd and 3rd John. I do not recognise any of these books. By the way, you are talking to an ex-evangelical minister. Hell is a way to scare the Sheeple to obediance and pentance. Hell-fire services are great for the offering plate. True Gnostic Christians don't ask for money. Paul made tents as he preached.

Ever heard of Giordano Bruno? Burned at the stake for believeing the Solar System was centered around the Sun . PRAY FOR TRUTH! and keep praying (Ja 1:5-6, Jn 16:24) until you get it...and then pray for it more, because you'll find so much truth that they don't cover in sunday school that you'll want to devote your life to it, as I do. And then you'll probably quit sunday school, because they don't teach it.

Remember that men wrote the bible, but God wrote the Universe. The creation story in the bible supports evolution, by showing the order of species created. I thought your title was referring to the bible, which has been proven to be a lie, whereas there is little speculation remaining about the evidence in support of God's plan for evolution. The only way to find God is through His Son (John 14:6). God DOES require the Bible, infidel... Hebrews 1:1-2. Jesus said that the Word of God is truth. That is the Bible, inspired by the Spirit. Paul's teachings are CORRECT because he was an apostle. OT History is infallible.

Evolution as commonly referred to is "across species" which has never happened-- evolution as reality has it is interior to species, which does happen today. I already have truth..
