And possibly CP3 in summer of 2012. Woulda been better to see how far the Knicks crew with Stoudemire, Chandler, Felton, Gallo, and Mozgov/Turiaf would've gotten. Hell, that team gave the Celtics a run for their money, taking them to the brink to 118 points. Usually Celtics games go up to 80-90

And you have a point, last year was still a rebuilding year. Acquiring Stoudemire was part of Walsh's master plan, and we got 'Melo, though the circumstances could have been better. And the final piece to the puzzle is (hopefully) CP3 and some role players who could play D, make some plays, and grab rebounds.

Players and owners beeing greedy, the players are already making millions of dollars from their contracts, owners are gettin money from ticket sales, etc. Personally, I think the only thing that needed to be discussed were the changes owners wanted on contracts and other things. Basketball revenue split could've been 50-50. Not a bad deal. Not to mention players get money from their endorsements...like Jordan, Nike, etc.

no doubt a center would benefit them, it would be like what the suns did when they acquired shaq, but look at their overall defense as a team (rotations, help defense) in my eyes it's their major weakness. It's going to be hard for them playing against teams with deadly shooters who come off staggered screens and pin downs. I just need to see melo and amare commit more consistently on the defensive end.

Thats if the Knicks defense improves.

He did REALLY well early in the year, but had some problems later in the year (probably due to nagging ingury) Our best player aside from Rose was definately Luol Deng. We also have Joakim Noah:) I am hoping that next season Booz can get that consistancy back. As far as the Knicks go, they need a true C under the rim, I think Nene, and Emeka okafor are both unrestrcted Free Agents.
