Eating meant permanent Adjuchas state- The adjuchas that were eaten could not revert back to gillian even if they were to stop eating. And then Aizen came along while they were adjuchas.
@Ubermisho because he only ate a part of them presumably. Much the same as he took a chunk out of DiRoy early on but didn't kill him. Then later on they were all made into Arrancar as well, they just weren't as powerful as Grimmjow.

@grimm6jack Harribel's fight consisted largely of both sides blocking each other's attacks. And then, of course, she got Aizen'd. Compare that to the epic fights of Nnoitra and Grimmjow, and it can seem like she's pretty weak.

The middle 3 Espadas (Ulquiorra, Nnoitra and Grimmjow) seemed way stronger than Halibel and even Stark (who only know's how to shoot ceros and use long range attacks and can't defeat lolshunsui ahahah) because of their epic fights against all strong people (Kenpachi, Ichigo and WTFHollow Ichigo)
@grimm6jack Perhaps Halibel's tactics/way of thinking was superior to thiers in a sense - though Grimmjow and Nnoitra are pretty good analytical opponents in thier battles - particularly Grimmjow. Yammy's second HULK like release - I'm surprised that didn't count as a Sequnda Form...
@grimm6jack Honestly I don't see how the Aaroniero is stronger than any Arrancar/Hollow below the Espada rank - whilst Gluttonieria is useful we've see the feets of some Arrancar/Fraccion/Numerous of Aizen/Espada and some of thier moves seem certainly better than Aaroniero - particularly Wonderweiss.

As I said no matter how strong the evil guys in Bleach are... The weaker or even much weaker good guys always win. Nnoitra was not a fail espada in my opinion, since he was arround Grimmjow's level and he is just one rank above him... And beingd efeated by Kenpachi, the captain with the highest raw power is not that bad...
@grimm6jack Say how'd Kenpachi fare against Kensei? Assume Kensei is allowed to be in his Hollow/Visored form and given Kensei's strength, whilst probably not raw Kenpachi - we've seen some of his abilities such as breaking out of Bakudo 63 or taking a Gillian not too shabily...

@grimm6jack Funny thing these 2 Captain/Shinigami's share: Good strength, good swordsman ship and both have 'Ken' in thier names - but thats where the similarities end if you don't count both have been captain rank but thats about it - Kensei has a no nonsense approach to war and has his Bankai whilst Kenpachi has raw strength and can be playful in battle but again who cares given both are good fighters :)

@Devatran I'd actually consider that Ulquiorra was indeed a Vasto Lorde. If you read Bleach UNMASKED, you will see that his form there was far more humanoid than any adjuchas we've seen. Also, adjuchas must consume other hollows in order to stop themselves regressing, but Ulquiorra had no mouth to feed from and did not regress. He was also the only Espada to have a second resurrection form. Do these things not imply that was indeed something more?

@ultamitestarwars224 They can't be Vasto Lorde because they're already arrancars but the resurrection form is sort of like a shinigami sword release, except stronger and it combines their former powers or creates a power that resembles their former self (like Halibel was a anthropomorphic shark Vasto Lorde so her resurrection is water control. She also gets her old sword and some of her former features back).

As they do not pass on to soul society or heaven they simply die; just as the quincny do when they kill a hollow. I think Tite Kubo has completely forgotten that he has left Grimmjow there. Aizen's been defeated in the manga but Grimmjow has not even been seen again yet.

And the final Vasto Lorde is Stark Coyote (espada n1) ... He separated himself from Lilynette before he met Aizen, and he was already an arrancar at that moment, which means that his resurrection brings him to hus true form, which is , I think, closer to a human than to an Adjuchas.
Barragan Luisenbarn : known as the GOD of Hueco Mundo (omgz). His resurection form is the same as when he first met Aizen. If this form is the same , knowing that adjuchas who become arrancar only have a resurection form close from what they used to look before becoming arrancar, then Barragan can turn into his exact old form : Conclusion, he ripped off his mask by himself to become an arrancar ( nite that his resurrection form looks like a human)
And also, may I add the fact that Grimmjow definitely got killed by espada n5 lol, not even a word from Grimmjow in over 80 episodes since that moment : he's dead.

@JacomeFelg Well Grimjow didn't completely eat them, just like he did to D-Roy he only ate a part of them, this stops their evolution to become a Vasta lordes, but would Improve Grimmjow's strength. They accepted that and offered a part of them to their ''King" Grimmjow.

Well, all Bleach revealed was that Vasto lords retain a humanoid form with their resurrecion, so based on that, stark is 100% Vl, barragan also 100% since he's the king of hueco mundo, Halibel also probably, Ulq probably too since he's the only espada that goes 2nd resurrecion, and then the rest are just Who knows, except for that gillian.

Gillians eat each other to become ajuchas. Then ajuchas eat each other to gain power then when they are strong enough to rip their masks off they become arrancar.
the most probably ones for vasto lordes are ulquiorra. just look at his power. hes an vasto lorde arrancar, wonderweicce, and grimmjow . i only say grimmjow because he said :: YOU ALL SEE THE NEXT LEVEL AS PART OF MY OWN FLESH" that probably means that he would became a vasto lorde after he ate them and then aizen turned him to arrancar... nad grimmjow is still alive so perhaps tite kubo would made him like this who knows...
Most likely, Ulqiorra is a Vasto Lorde, he reached a second transformation stage, sort of like an Arrancar Bankai type thing, he also said he was powerful enough that his Black Cero could completely destroy Los Noches. But yeah, a single Vasto Lorde is supposedly equal to two captains, yet all the Arrancar shown so far have been getting taken down solo (most of the time), so it's likely he has something hidden up is sleeves.

Espadas 10/0, Yammi; 8, Szayel; 7, Zommari; 6, Grimmjow and 5, Nnoitra were Adjuchas, although Yammi was 0 Espada he was a special case.
Espadas 4, Ulquiorra; 3, Halibel; 2, Barragan and 1, Stark were all Vasto Lorde. Ulquiorra being the only one with a 2nd ressurection.
Somehow I see adjuchas like Nnoitra and Grimmjow stronger than Halibel ... I wonder why.

We havent seen any Vasto Lordes in Bleach except -Hollow Ichigo-.

If they stopped their evolution and Grimmjow ate them, then how did those guys survive and how did Aizen turn them in Vasto Lordes? Did they get revived when Grimmjow turned into a Vasto Lord?

@ultamitestarwars224 They can't be Vasto Lorde because they're already arrancars but the resurrection form is sort of like a shinigami sword release, except stronger and it combines their former powers or creates a power that resembles their former self (like Halibel was a anthropomorphic shark Vasto Lorde so her resurrection is water control. She also gets her old sword and some of her former features back).

She is such a beautiful cat, black and white parti-colored with dark ebony stripes within her lighter black patches, and has gooseberry green eyes with burnt copper colored fur rimming underneath them. As they do not pass on to soul society or heaven they simply die; just as the quincny do when they kill a hollow. It becomes a matter of oppinion however we are not destroying a chicken or cow's soul. Yes we eat them, but to state they are not evil is your own opinion. That would be the same as to say any form of killing is evil or not.

Barragan Luisenbarn : known as the GOD of Hueco Mundo (omgz). His resurection form is the same as when he first met Aizen. If this form is the same , knowing that adjuchas who become arrancar only have a resurection form close from what they used to look before becoming arrancar, then Barragan can turn into his exact old form : Conclusion, he ripped off his mask by himself to become an arrancar ( nite that his resurrection form looks like a human)

Neh ! Grimmjow's a regular adjuchas. And he didn't eat his fracion before they became arrancar ... Simple reason : arrancar created from gillian hardly have a human form (espada n9 , espada n8's fraccion, and the guards who fought against ichida and chad).
And for your statement saying that grimmjow would be a Vasto Lorde ... Well lol, he just wasn't meant for it I guess : he was always shown in the past as a tiger (definitely not human form) do he's not.

He only needs to eat a piece of an adjuchas to envolve! His fraccion when he eat them they held their forms and their reason but their power decreased to a gillians... because they lost a piece of themselves (to grimmjow) and now they are gillian (form of afjuchas) for ever and cannot envolve anymore! and grimmjow said himself YOULL SEE THE NEXT LEVEL AS PART OF MY OWN FLASH 8next level mean VASTO LORDE) so he perhaps made it to vasto lorde

@JacomeFelg Well Grimjow didn't completely eat them, just like he did to D-Roy he only ate a part of them, this stops their evolution to become a Vasta lordes, but would Improve Grimmjow's strength. They accepted that and offered a part of them to their ''King" Grimmjow.

What I found rather curious about Barragans past was the fact that he was allready a skeletal being to begin with. to achieve the rank of "king" he must have been VL. I would say that from the backgrounds of both stark and Barragan id say those two were VL. As for the rest? Idk. Halibel never said nothing propably another Adjuchas along with Ulquiorra. I mean sure Ulquiorra powers were shocking however he had retained a mask (Something VL's dont) and he was a Bat in Ressurectión so...

Well, all Bleach revealed was that Vasto lords retain a humanoid form with their resurrecion, so based on that, stark is 100% Vl, barragan also 100% since he's the king of hueco mundo, Halibel also probably, Ulq probably too since he's the only espada that goes 2nd resurrecion, and then the rest are just Who knows, except for that gillian.

Most likely, Ulqiorra is a Vasto Lorde, he reached a second transformation stage, sort of like an Arrancar Bankai type thing, he also said he was powerful enough that his Black Cero could completely destroy Los Noches. But yeah, a single Vasto Lorde is supposedly equal to two captains, yet all the Arrancar shown so far have been getting taken down solo (most of the time), so it's likely he has something hidden up is sleeves.
