I saw him on this tour at the Hollywood Palladium and he dedicated this song to me and about six other guys standing in the back by the soundboard (the lobby lights were on and you could see our silhouettes under the archways). I couldn't believe it, especially since this is my top fave Smiths song. He said, "if I were at this concert that's where I would be standing."

This version is much better than the one in 1985. I guess it's the stronger voice or the better articulation of the sounds. The older version just sounds more nasal, I guess.

I'm sorry to say, the original Smiths version is still much much better. Granted, this is a live version, but even Morrissey's vocals for this song were so much better in 1985 (or whenever the studio version was recorded).
