@QuincyxLover Your dad is right although that they aren't different superheroes. Actually, Impulse becomes the 4th Flash (after Wally West) but not before becoming Kid Flash. In all of Bart's appearances in Smallville, he is Impulse but without accelerated aging.
@QuincyxLover Not to sound rude, but get your facts right. Bart Allen started out as Impulse (when current flash was wally west i believe), then he became the new kid flash and finally flash. I believe he was/is the final flash.
@jatinder100 orignal flash was barry allen ^^ wally west is already next gen. in jlu barry allen got lost in the speed force with doc zoom, while wally west reproduced the accident to become the new flash. in joung justice on the other hand ^^ the flash is still barry and kid flash is wally
@EverestMcCooliopants Yes it is :) He was also Quentin in the remake of the nightmare on elm street... He also played the main character in The Haunting of Connecticut. His been in quite a few movies already, his an amazing actor.

It's funny cus the way I know the story-at least by the comics I've read) Bart came to be about during the YJ phase as Impulse and it was Barry who started the JLA years and years and many years before with Hal, Superman, and the others :P
But it's cool how this show changes it- I sort of like it :) creative license and all that
Wally was Clark's generation in the Justice League, Barry is in Young Justice while Wally is Kid Flash there, and here it's Bart... (they're mostly just cartoons, but still..)

@level22productions I really hate the way the newer stuff's gone ;( Season 6 was the last excellent Season and it's gone steadily downhill from there. The sets and the way they do the FX now is all different. Everything just feels over stylised and cheapened... sadly, I think watch it more for Cassidy Freeman and Erica Durance than anything else :|
@dariunas It went downhill after the third episode of Season 5 for me. That's when I realized that the producer's were going to drag out the story even more. You're right though. Everything now feels over-stylized. Cassidy Freeman is the only reason I watch it now. Although after the "Fortune" episode, I've stopped watching because now it's just going to be a bunch of filler episodes until the finale.
@level22productions I know what you mean, 4 and 5 were inconsistent to me; had some really good and really bad episodes, but Season 6 was so dark and the story progressed well, my faith was being renewed. I guess once Michael Rosenbaum left, it dropped out. But I think the magic died for a lot of people when there was less 'Clark and Lex' time...
@dariunas The whole soap opera drama with Lana (RHYME!) in season 6 ruined it for me. In season 5 instead of going to back to the fortress after getting his powers back, Clark just goes about his life as if nothing happened. Season 4.... witches... That's all I'm saying about that. Season 8 was actually not bad. I liked how they gave Doomsday an interesting back-story. Even though the producer's built up the finale a little too much. And Season 9 was all just one big filler for nothing.
This is either the best episode of Season 4, or it's Transference (the episode where Clark becomes Lionel, Lionel becomes Clark). This has one of the best lines of Smallville ever too:
"[I don't know]I can blink pretty fast"
Also, DC Universe 101 question- is he Flash or Impulse?
@shahryar bart allen was the superhero Impulse. He would later go on to become the second Kid Flash and the fourth Flash. so here in this show he is impulse.
