Buggy (Buggie) Boogie [N64 - CANCELLED! - short video]

I remember reading about this game - IIRC it was in development by the same company/people who did the effects for the Lawnmower Man movie.

It was a launch/pre lead up title and was in all the magazines at the time but then just vanished - not sure what it was ever supposed to be about, definitely not racing, but maybe car battles or adventure. The magazines had it only as screenshots as you could imagine.

Anyway, memories.

Am I correct in assuming this was taken from a segment on GamesMaster? For some reason they really loved to use that "Way U Move" song from the Killer Instinct soundtrack every chance they got.

Wow, when I first saw screenshots of this in Nintendo Power as a kid I was excited for it, and when it got canned I was upset.

But seeing it in motion for the first time...it...kinda looks like crap, haha.
