  • this movie must have been made by a vegetarian or vegan

  • Its chuckie!

  • TalKing about ewe. :) Winner every time!

  • This is such a amazing movie <3 .. with such a beautiful meaning. Pigs are so beatiful - my piggy lives with my sheep :D

  • i miss movies as simple but with a true meaning like this...... Great Movie By The Way.

  • 0:53 - 0:57

    babe: what are you?

    sheep: ewe

    babe: pig

    ewe: i'm a ewe. a ewe.

    LOL

  • Close your eyes and listen, Chucky Finster. You will never unhear it.

  • *nostalgia explosion*

  • I read the book its very cool

  • Prime Minister Noda please follow Babe. Against Babe, this which "dampen a strong thing while helping underarm", as for Prime Minister double-tongued Noda, wolves attacking the group of the sheep anymore are less than it.

  • Im just curious and Im not trolling, but did this film really deserve to be nominated for best picture?

  • @xXzumiesXx2 oh hell yes

  • i want a pig!!

  • OMG, THE MICE! Totally forgot about them. :p

  • why would a pig in a north england rural area farm have an american accent?

  • @wank0r that landscape looks australian not british :)...northern british landscape is covered in hedges and has bad weather most of the year...this movie is an american\australian production :D

  • @warbossgrotsmasha23 Yeah, it was filmed in Australia, I was in the place it was filmed in yesterday, pretty nice place...it could be mistaken as being filmed in America though, as that was what they wanted, as it was supposed to be set in America and the cas put on American accents.

  • one of the best films i have watched

i am a farmer and all of our family watch it

  • This film made me a vegetarian, no joke.

  • @ZenMaster1992 I stopped eating pork after this movie too.

  • meh the pig would make some good sausages

  • This was one of my favorite movies as a child.

  • what is the name off this song? 0:13

  • @MollyTalenter

It's Le Carnaval des Animaux- Aquarium

  • I really love Babe's brunette hair, so cute!

  • Aww i used to love this movie!

  • this looks better than the book

  • I remember this from "The Land Before Time" movie commercials... *tear*

  • Why didn't this win best picture in 1995?! Unfair!!!

    This is a classic!

  • "If it's not a duck that thinks it's a rooster, it's a pig that thinks it's a dog!"

    Pure Trailer fuel!

  • Babe: "Get out of here ya.... BIG BUTTHEADS!!!"

    Butthead: "Woah!"

  • they are not stupid fly maa is right she is not stupid

  • lol i love this movie <3

  • That'll do, pig. that'll do.

  • -Babe(nicely): "Hello Sir."

    -Chicken: "Get out of here!"

    Ouch!

  • @Philosphyfanatic That rooster's voice sounds like that of a cockroach!

  • I swear to God that this is by far my BEST MOVIE EVER!

  • classic movie in my house growing up. that and toy story

  • I remember the cat was scary...and when they killed the goofy duck.

  • @Hermoor no they didnt kill him it was another duck that got killed not the goofy 1

  • @Hermoor Ferdinand was never killed.

  • @Hermoor dont you that about the sheep are clever not stupid you may think flys right and ma is wrong but i know ma is right and flys wrong

  • such a gay moive lol

  • @666cl53 Hey wait, yes he's an asshole, but the hangover is fucking hilarious.

  • @fattyjoe101 You must have had a crappy childhood.

  • @fattyjoe101 You're gay, you think about gays, then you're gay! Fuck you.

  • Does anyone remember how...scary this movie was? Dark overtones, horrific noises, starting the movie out in a pig slaughterhouse? It was a great movie, but dang, what a messed up childhood o0;

  • i used to watch this when i was a kid... :)

  • Minecraft bought me here

  • I used to love this movie. Haven't seen it in FOREVER! We lost our VHS copy when I was younger and it made me so sad.

  • This pig looks like my dog I swear

  • I will never have a BLT again...just an LT

  • Sheep :"Your such a nice little pig"

    Pig: *smiles*

That made me want a pig.... BADLY

  • Yo!

    Da nostalgia bomb!

  • "May I call you Mom?"

    Cutest. Thing. Ever. ;w;

  • Babe was so cute!

  • Nostalgia!

  • Naaah....I say butcher the little pink fuckers lol

  • Do you guys know that 48 pigs played the role of Babe? and guess what, when they grew up a little or they got tired each one of them was butchered!!!

  • 1:10

  • watching this as a little girl highly influended my decistion of becoming a vegetarian few years later, farm animals are beautiful too

  • @brwneyedgrl1989 you can comment on ewan cuddling mally the sheep

  • this movie makes me cry every time

  • This movie should remind us all of that magnificent innocence and pure kindness we all once has as children...and lost as we 'grew up'....such a beautiful message and a joy to watch. I saw it for the first time 16 years ago, and I am now sharing it's wonderful sense of spirit with my own children. We all sing "LA LA LA to the tune of "Jingle Bells" together now....lol.

  • @chemistrywascrazy are u on crack?

    /

  • @PairyHenis1 LOL...you've obviously lost the innocence and kindness I talked about, honey. Pity. Now go get a razor and take care of that pairy henis ewwww...LOL )-;

  • @chemistrywascrazy wanna know who else lost their innocence when they grew up?? the 48 pigs that where trained, played the babe role and were then butchered to make this film!!

  • @iiH3R3T1C Now that's a LOT of bacon! lol. I wasn't promoting a particular love of pigs, honey. I have no problem with the food chain. I was referring to the human condition and the message promoted by the film. There's too much pain and violence in the world. I'm more concerned with innocent little children being abused and molested, or with the starving millions who live like worthless rats in the dirt in so many African nations, to worry about pigs becoming bacon. Peace out

  • @chemistrywascrazy I understand the food chain, in fact I love eating bacon. But the fact that they just killed so many innocent pigs in order to entertain is horrible. Fuck the "innocent children" or the actually worthless people living like rats.

  • seriously this movie looks really good and it was from what i rember it was pretty awsome. much better then all the other crap that comes out.

  • Like this if Nostalgia critic Reminded you about this movie :D

  • oh my god..........the male dog is hugo fucking weaving. wtf lol

  • @DDRrez charming

  • i love babes hair lol and i want a baby pig now ...

  • @benknowsbest1 Charlotte's web is better. Its the best selling book and there is no need to curse.

  • @perri16370 Camille Saint-Saëns. No more need be said. Babe wins hands down.

  • @aznboy131 No no no! Charlotte's web is better! Charlotte's web is 5 star movie and its based on the best selling book! Your saying babe is better because you seen it and you did not see charlotte's web! Babe is the worst movie ever.

  • This made me want a pig...

  • @dertrix37 omg same! we hav so much in common!

  • This movie is pure genius.

  • that will do pig that will do

  • :( This movie should have wom Best film in 1995. I will get angry if Toy story 3 wins best film this year because I think it isn't tender or sweet as this beautiful movie is.

  • @garpossa Even though Babe is 16 years old.

  • epic movie

  • pig is one of most inteligent animals so i think making of this movie shoud be not so hard

  • He has hair XD

  • I remember not wanting to see this movie as a kid. After watching this I remember thinking how great it was. Watching this trailer really brings back the memories of being a kid.

  • arg!!! isn't there any place to watch this movie, they don't sell it in shops anymore, and i can't find it in the library, and the internett isn't much of help >:(

  • THE MICEE!!:DDD

  • love the mice :)

  • The person who did Babe's voice in this movie did Chuckie Finster's voice from Rugrats. I thought that was pretty cool :)

R.I.P. Dick King Smith. You great guy!

  • @heylinspongesprite

The voice of Babe is Christine Cavanaugh, she also did the voice of dexter from Dexter's Laboratory.

  • @pixargod And Chuckie from Rugrats.

  • I'm 52 and finally moved to the countryside. Always wanted a goat.. don't know why. Bought a young one who spatted with my dogs and has his own personallity. He follows me everywhere and seems to want to be involved in everything I do. He now sleeps with my dogs and is as much a part of the family as anyone.....

  • Dick King Smith. THANK YOU for BABE! A true service to animal kind & human.

  • Good bye Dick King Smith

    I going mis you :'(

  • One day my and my gf's pet potbellied pig needs to see this. It's inspirational.

  • RIP. Thanks for everything you contributed

  • R.I.P Dick King Smith! :O

  • i fucking LOVE this move!

  • What could have romantic and sweet about the end of this film would be that the little piglet would have finally made up toward the male sheepdog who attacked him earlier by embracing him. This would have awed many general audiences who have seen this film when it was released in 1995 including many film critics who have taken the time to review such family films like this one.

  • One scene that sucked the most about this film was where when the innocent little piggy tried to confront the male sheepdog about how he assumed the troubles of herding sheep were all his fault but was nearly attacked by the sheepdog. If I were that innocent little pig, I'd just take it upon myself to defend myself and stand right up to that sheepdog.

  • There was something about this family film that when I used to watch it when i was 5 or 6 years old that nowadays made me think it sucked when I resaw it back in 2008 with some scenes that might have not only been a little too intense but could have also been a little frightening toward younger children (despite the true fact that I still love films from Walt Disney more greatly like Fantasia).

  • holy shit its rush limbaugh

  • This remembers me of my childhood, I shall never forget this movie!!

  • i used to watch this movie all the time when i was a kid!

  • pigs are smarter then dogs :-)

  • poor pigs they are slaughterd horribly everyday

before i loved this movie but now that i know what really happens i feel sad for all of the innocent animals they shouldnt suffer

  • Thank you for sharing this trailer with the Silver Screen Poet and his friends on facebook

  • I love his movie i realy love babe <3

  • I watch this movie for the first time in like 10 years and it's still a great movie and the special effects still hold up

  • I like how the music in the first part, Carnival of the Animals, is by Camille Saint-Saens, and that the main theme of the movie (if I had Words) is also based on Saint-Saens 3rd Symphony.

    Great music all around!

  • I watch this movie to this very day! :D

  • I watched this movie when i was a kid,it bring back my memories (sorry if my english is wrong)

  • I can't wait until years from now...in the slaughter house that first pig utters the very first word...Nooo.......

  • There were scenes to this that entirely made this movie to me suck. One Example is that where the innocent little pig is nearly attacked by this one sheepdog when the pig tries to confront him about his sheep herding job. If I were that little piggy,

I'd defend myself in anyway possible from being attacked or killed in anyway.

  • What's the name of the beginning music?

  • @Galutron itss called gal eat my ass

  • I swear now that I think about it. . . that Duck is Daffy Ducks cousin. hahaha

  • should we still eat sausage or bacon after seeing this?

  • this is trippy to watch when high

this is trippy to watch when high and stoned

    lol

  • Babe was the illest movie, dawg.

  • i saw this yesterday and i watched 1 and 2

  • is it just me or is the enchanting music in the beginning from Beauty and the Beast- the rose scene?

  • I read the book, it was brilliant.

  • I saw this movie when I was little but the other movie is better ;)

  • Remember that Cat... tells him all about bacon, pork, and ham. Major bitch!

  • I wonder what horrors this small piglet went through to land up as meat in someone's plate after they were done shooting the movie.

  • i was so scared of this movie when i was little :(

  • i do hope that babe had a good life after the two movies.

  • @imxinnerxpink There were a whole bunch of piglets used to play Babe, cuz of how fast they grow. But they all got good homes after the movie. They tend to be good about that stuff with movie animals these days cuz it'd be awful PR otherwise. ;)

  • Could someone PLEASE tell me the name of the score for this trailer?!

  • @spiderwebs7215 "If I Had Words"

Adapted from "Symphony No. 3" by Camille Saint-Saëns

    Lyrics by Jonathan Hodge

  • @whitedragon489 I meant the score more near the very beginning of the trailer. I don't think that's it.

  • @spiderwebs7215 Oh well darn. Uhmm..I'm not sure, but is it maybe the piece by Alan Menken that was used at the start of Beauty and the Beast...? It surely does remind me of that at start...

  • @spiderwebs7215

    1981

    House Music

    Real Life Funnies*

    The Dream On Royal Street

Atina: Evil Queen of the Galaxy

(produced in workshop as "Battle of the Giants")

Babe (incomplete)* You see here he's credited with some music for it from a stage production...hrmm...

  • @whitedragon489 I found it! What I hear is from Saens "Carnival of the Animals" titled "Aquarium." It's a famous score used in many films and was the lead inspiration for Menken's Beauty and the Beast score.

  • @spiderwebs7215 Yay! :D

  • 0:56

  • One of my favorite movies ever. <3

  • I love this movie^^

  • one of the cutest movies ever lol

  • Disney made a version about this, it's called Gordy. I loved both!

  • @greenadrenaline6405 sorry the original Australian version is way better. I'll consult with the tomato meter and determine if it is a worthy predecessor.

  • the music is from saint-seans's "carnival of the animals", the movement is called "aquarium"

  • when this movie came out I was 3. I got a stuffed beanie baby pig and named it babe. Im the only girl & my older brothers put it in the OVEN LMAO and it had grill marks on it (literally) . I cried oh i was mad as hell.

  • This movie is better than bad - it's good.

  • babe nyou're mum was turned into Breakfest!!!!!

  • I used to have a dog like Fly and Rex! His name was Ernie. He was such a good doggie. Border Collies are great!

  • Does anybody know the name of the music from 0:13 to 0:42?

  • @BlacKane360 That'd be ... Camille Saint Saens - Carnival of the Animals Aquarium/Fish segment.

  • How on earth was this film nominated for seven Oscars? It's a good movie, but is it really *that* good?
