  • I always had an unmanageable fear of scattered or isolated thunderstorms. These scenarios also happen in my native country,Puerto Rico. But Puerto Rican doctors have no knoledgement about this type of phobia and I have the knoledgement because I found it out online.

  • @123456RaulMorales You emphasize scattered and isolated. Are you saying that a large squall line storm doesn't bother you? that sounds interesting.

  • @DTRAVELZ No.I use the words scattered or isolated because the Weather Channel and/or the news report stories that are related to nasty weather, depending of the gravity of the storms which are forecast by the Weather Channel or the news that are related to nasty weather, because brontophobics like me are mostly worried about the Weather Forecast during the spring season and the summer season and tend to hide into a closet. Both scattered and isolated thunderstorms bother me...Truly,Raul

  • @123456RaulMorales

I find this interesting because I remember as a child I was extremely afraid of thunderstorms as well but in my adult hood I am actually mesmorised and fascinated by them. I go out of my way to try to see them now. I think I still get that anxiety when a T storm is forecasted , but it is sort of the same feeling as watching the 9th inning of a very close baseball game or something. Nervous , tension, but channeled in a good way. Thats the best way I can describe it.

  • i thought shed cry

  • BOOOOOOOOOMM! lol

  • i will cry! i really scard of thunder

  • @carmenliujiawen m Me too,and angry because I am an acute brontophobic before and during t-storms..

  • The thunder was trying to say..."Stay inside during a storm!"

That is why people say that, because the thunder told them to.
