  • I'd rather their be no gaming at all than gaming with DRM, all honest to god truth, I love gaming , but DRM just makes me TOO sick to the stomach.

  • Here is a fix. Pirate everything.

  • 33 work in microsoft

  • @ahmadti DRM was made completely intolerable by Ubisoft, Microsoft barely did anything.

  • clean your toaster you hippies.

  • that ending was just plain silly

  • oh i get it

  • DRMs are a pain it the ass. I installed Crysis on my computer. Later, I wanted to experiment with 3D Computer art, so I installed blender. As we know, Blender needs Python Programming language to work right, so I installed that. So the DRM that came with Crysis decided all of a sudden to be a whiny little bitch and won't let me play Crysis online. Dear companies that use DRMs: YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE. The crap you're doing to your customers computers isn't stopping piracy:it's PROMOTING it.

  • DRM seems to have destroyed 2nd hand games now they only sell console games..

I can't believe they game publishers are doing this to PC gaming they cannot win and as others have said people will always find a way to bypass the DRM.

  • Wow... What kind of security system is DRM? People who pirate it, get more advantage, not just because they didn't need to pay, but because, they get the copy without drm. So the fair people get bad version. and the thiefs get fair version... Wow, i wonder what they were smoking... And yes, i bought the game spore, and when i released that there's drm, i wasn't exactly happy.

  • @Uiks55 If Trusted Computing goes into effect the pirates will have to start manufacturing motherboards. You can't download a mothbaord, now can you?

  • Alright everyone, Time to stop apologize to the anti-corporation hippies. They smoked their magically peace pipes and saw this coming, I AM SORRY!!!!!!!!! WE DID NOT SEE THIS COMING!!!! IM SORRRRRRYYYY!!

  • @YourJustAPawn Corporations are bad. I am not a hippie. I am going to school for Information Technology (a vocational school).

Corporations like Monsanto deserve to be ground into dust.

  • Great video, truly, artful and proving a point, that with the DRM we don't own the products we buy, AHHH there is a word for the DRM.Communism, "Communism is a social structure in which classes are abolished and property is commonly controlled" Now think about that. We buy products (consumers) they make (workers) they abolish all classes and we are all just (workers) consumers, and we work to fuel the (economy) company, and in the end we don't own our own "property". Sounds funny don't it.

  • @YourJustAPawn No, it's an oligarchy. Do your reading.

  • Fuck EA and Ubisoft to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • EA got better. They ditched DRM. But still, FUCK UBISOFT!!!!!

  • @taitai907 Either show me proof of your statement or tell me where I can buy whatever the hell you're on.

  • "On June 24, 2009, EA announced and formalized a change in its approach to preventing piracy of PC games. The company plans to drop all DRM from its games, replacing it with a traditional CD-key check. However, games will include content that is not present on the disc, requiring a download during the activation of the game,"

    - Electronic Arts page on Wikipedia.

But if you really must know, I get my weed on the corner of Haight and Ashbury. You have to pay extra if you want exotic flavors.

  • @taitai907 Sorry, but it is still DRMed. You have to A) enter a CD-key and B) download content to play it. That also smacks of a scheme more heinous than DRM; Project 10 Dollar. DRM free means that you can play the game after install without a CD key, without a CD check, with unlimited copies ... legal of course ... you know, with no checks to disc authenticity. Try GOG.com if you want to see true, DRM free games; oldies but goodies. Cheers!

  • Actually, you don't. When they say "download content" they don't mean essential game files. They mean DLC such as new quests, armor, or weapon. I pirated Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins and was able to play them minus the DLC. I loved them so much that I bought them afterward. Basically, it's like the old days except, back then, you didn't have a lot of DLC. I really like this way because you get the bulk of the game. If you still want that weed, the offer still stands.

  • @taitai907 Well, not critical files, but still a heinous practice. Probably should have been a bit more clear with my last comment. I have personally boycotted EA for this practice since it is now impossible to resell games to people without screwing them. I suggest a read up on project ten dollar. But, I digress. If EA has truly done away with all forms of DRM, including CD keys, then they have made a great step in the right direction and for that I will applaud them.

  • I boycotted Ubi because of they blatant and proud use of DRM, but I returned to EA because, even as a pirate, they still let you play the entire game. You just don't get the sugar on top. If you really need the sugar, trust me, just use weed, instead, it does wonders.

  • That would suck...it's like, dad bought a loaf of bread for the whole family of 10,3 members ate partially, couldn't finish, the other 7 have to get their own,it's wasteful...

  • Hahah DRM is a JOKE if there was real life DRM Guys like Skidrow and Reloaded will crack it like they did with all the latest DRM protected games

  • @emokidbg Software and hardware are two different things.

  • Pirates are too god (yes god, not good) for todays drm. Nothing will stop skidrow/reloaded. No wait. AC2 won, amazing. But no other game so far.

  • @SnoweyMan111 the more your gods (pirates) keep on doing their thing the less good games u would have because those games are created with a huge money investment and if they don't make any more money they would stop producing complex and groundbraking games and movies.when they stop making games you and your gods would be fucked in the anus

  • DRM brakes the law of "consumer protection" at least in Germany

The bad thing is, that most little kids dont give a fuck about what they are doing wrong (concerning games).

So in my opinion, these guys, that use DRM on their games have highly criminal minds as they exploit the ignorance of children!

  • PERFECT WORK!! DRM is exactly like this!!! Having trouble lately with a DRM protected PDF/ebook. LIMITATIONS EVERYWHERE!!!! - PEOPLE WAKE UP !! DONT LET THEM RESTRICT YOUR LIFES!! SAY NO TO DRM PRODUCTS !!! DONT BUY IT!

  • Pirates have bypassed every game that uses DRM to date...

This means that people who have a pirated copy have the full version and can install it as many times as they want.

However people who pay for their games legally own the inferior version, as it can only be installed a set number of times...

You can, it is said, get permission for more installs by contacting the publisher. But if they go bust or the online software they use stops working, you no longer own the game, but a thief does.

  • DRM punishes the paying customer... If it would prevent pirates, I would be fine with it. However, name even ONE product that is still protected from pirates thanks to its DRM.

Yeah, thought so. There is none. Pirates get everything free. We pay more due to the DRM expenses and get a product that can downright harm our computers for example. This is why I hate it so much. And just for your information, I buy every damn game I play.

  • @Mazena how does DRM punish the customer? I have a ton of PC games, and my computer works as well as the day I got it.

pc gamers dont pay more for the games, they pay less then console gamers.

i buy all my games too. people are misinformed about DRM and securom. its like when AIDs was first discovered, and everyone misunderstood how you could catch it.

  • Well, let's take an example of my personal experiences. Neverwinter Nights 2 and their SecuROM protection. Well, on my first try, SecuROM wasn't compatible with my DVD-drive and I had to buy a new one to get it working.

Still, opening the game takes a lot longer for us with legitimate games and pirates can pretty much turn the game on in seconds (Once you start modding a game and need to switch between the modding program and the game a lot, the extra minute wasted is not fun).

  • @ghostspider

My mom bought the Sims 3 online. She cannot save the install file, she has to run it from EA games servers. She cannot make a back-up copy. She can also only install it ONCE. She has a PC and a laptop, EA says if you want it on two comps, buy two copies. If the PC takes a shit, she has to call EA and hold for 45 minutes to talk to someone and have them reset the registry. Look up the problems they have with World Adventures.

  • DRM interferes with retail owners more so than pirates, most of the time pirates have the DRM cracked a week before release anyway.

  • but what DOES IT DO?! nobody is answering that question. people say it does stuff to their pc, but thats it. nobody says what it does. I have games that use drm and my computer is running fine. so, what does drm do?

  • well lets look at AC2's DRM, you need Constant internet access, honestly thats not that bad but considering it's a singleplayer game it makes no sense.

  • in that case, i can see how that is bad. and if that were the case with all games using drm, i can understand.

but what about the horror stories, of drm crashing computers, breaking hard drives and disc drives, slowing down the os, and corrupting other programs.

ive never seen any proof of this, and to be honest, i dont think anybody has either. its all hype with no evidence. if people go on the drm website, they tell you how to fix any issues you have.

  • so what? why should you have to go into your registry and delete and modify keys to get software YOU PAID FOR to work?

slowing down the OS is obvious.

hardware damage is suspect. i highly doubt that.

but this video demonstrates what it's like to deal with DRM on a daily basis.

why don't you check out the DRM "solution" being employed by ubisoft with their assassin's creed 2 title.

if you think that's fair.. then you need to leave the country.

  • @sharpnova2

I know what you're talking about there. Even worse, on XBOX 360 it was released without strands 12 and 13 which you then had to pay for in the Marketplace.

Also, I'm beginning to get leary of the "games on demand," you can download it to your 360 hard drive with no potential possibility of putting it on a disc, and if you delete it, what then? You have to have a gold membership to even be able to do that crap anyhow.

  • "not that bad"

    it's fucking terrible.

  • limits your access to software you paid for moron.

jesus you're uneducated. why don't you do some research for yourself then go around asking questions.

  • @sharpnova2 of course ive done my research. and whats wrong with asking questions? since when is that such a bad thing to do?

and besides, thats not the answer to what i was asking anyway. i was asking about the horror stories.

why dont you think before you talk next time.

  • i addressed your question. you probably failed to understand.

pretty clear you're not the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

  • @sharpnova2 no, i understood perfectly.

im talking about the horror stories drm does such as breaking disc drives and crashing os's.

im aware it limits what you can do with it.

i bring that question up because my computer is running fine, and i have a good handful of games with drm.

why must you be so arrogant? you act tough behind a computer screen but i bet you're a complete wuss in person. is this the only way to boost your confidence, to harass people over the internet?

  • in my experience, the only people who cry "wuss" or "virgin" over the internet are those who suffer from those identities themselves.

i'll have you know i'm just as much of an asshole in person as i am here.

the problem is i surround myself with people far more intelligent than people like you. so i never really need to be an asshole.

  • people like, the people who comment your page?

i didn't realize it until i looked there, that i was being harassed by a troll. i thought you were just arrogant, but no.

the comments on your page speak for itself

  • nah. just people like you.

people with such miniscule intellects that they lose the tense and plurallity of a sentence halfway through.

  • you're just harassing me now, i know you're a troll and this is what you do, but just let it go.

you understand, all i did was ask a question and you instigated. seriously, stop.

  • nah. you're a fool.

learn to read what people say and understand what they mean.

don't just take it offensively because you have low self esteem.

  • you're a liar. i know you're a troll, and nothing you say will offend me. why? because i know you dont mean it, no matter how much you say you do. no matter how offensive it may get, it doesn't matter because you're a troll, and thats what trolls do. so go ahead, tell me how stupid i am one last time because i wont respond back. make it good though, because i know you want me to say something back. make it count, because it will be the last thing you will say to me.

  • *chuckles*

if i'm a troll, then i definitely succeeded.

if i'm not, then i still win since your only recourse to my superior logic was to tell yourself i was a troll.

in either case: resignation accepted :)

  • DRM is an way to check if your game is legit or not. You must have an internet connection to play the game and if your connection fails because it is to slow or the server from the game goes offline you can't play your game. If you already play the game it shuts down without saving.

  • @ghostspider

It does more than that. It means you don't own what you paid for. It also means you can't do what you want with what you pay for. If you download music through a service that uses a subscription, you don't own the music after your subscription lapses. That's right, you can't listen to any of the music you paid money for.

It also pertains to compatibility. Apple doesn't want you listening to anything you got from iTunes on anything that isn't an apple product.

    Get the gist?

  • DRM Sucks!

  • yo thats my rap name! lol for real tho

  • Abolish DRM and computers!

  • DRM is over-used / abused. For example... in the UK, if you own a TV, you have to pay for a licence. The licence fee goes to making content for the BBC, who also offer their content online so you can view it again. HOWEVER... they use DRM on each clip, and also an expiry date.

So in reality, the licence fee payer is the producer of the content, but is only allowed to view it within a set period of time, after which, the DRM expires and it can no longer be viewed.

  • timesplitters was not made by ea it was made by free radical design, ea published it and slapped their big fat logo on it.

they did the same to a lot of great games

    Mass Effect

    Crysis

  • Love the video - Everything is for sale!

  • so everything can be used only once in DRM world?

  • Anyone here remember a while back about the Terminator Technology for garden seeds? It's a kind of BRM that makes seeds produce only one generation of a plant, if you take the seeds from the plant that was grown with the original seeds, the plant won't grow. This was around the time that Circuit City came out with the Divx disc which only played for 48 hours. If I were king I'd make everybody who has ever created a copyrighted work pay everyone back for every copy they bought.

  • That one's actually got more to do with the fact that there's a lot of concerns over what would happen if those seeds got into the natural environment, and rather than take the time to point out most of the changes wouldn't seriously damage the rest of the environment, they just keep them from reproducing all together.

  • Word. When an industry favors litigation over innovation, it needs a reset. Maybe we're not willing to pay for your music anymore when we can get better shit for free or for pennies. Please try to accept that instead of wiping your ass with the Constitution.

  • DRM: Paying $50 to rent a game

  • DRM sucks.

  • While I don't know anything about DRM on music, the DRM on recent games is complete bullshit. Limited installs, LOSING an install every time you change hardware. It becomes a paperweight. Installing shit into the registry that hides under your nose.

My copy of FEAR won't play because "I have more than one disc drive." Anyone who believes that is fair is a fucking moron.

  • Buy it and crack it, unfortunately it's the only way to play such games.

  • i think they patched that, if not, check out the drm securom web site, i remember seeing something on there about that.

  • I don't know what to think about the DRM, but the video was really good!

  • heh. DRM is going to kill the legitimate user market.

  • ...and ultimately, the artist.

  • lolz good concept!!!

  • its ironic; DRM is only making the pirates more successful. More people, who normally would be honest, turn to cracked versions of the program, so they don't have to go through the DRM hassle, and now the pirates have more sympathizers.

  • I hope drm dies a quick death, it's already been around for far too long.

  • i like the end

  • Chilling...

  • awesome vid!! when they first started having drm media files I was furious. The only thing I have that is drm is some ebooks from mobipocket for my palm lifedrive. Each book can have 3 registered users, which wouldnt bother me, except my 3 are already used b/c my desktop pc, my laptop, and my palm. drm blows, if ppl want to pirate stuff, they will, thats the way the world goes, why punish the ppl who actually paid for the product?

  • that's Scary... fuck DRM

  • Very well thought out Vid, nice work. I hope as a culture we are ready and willing to begin our take back of our rights. It is after all up to US, Hmmm! Will we, Hmmm! It takes one to start a movement and the rest to follow. I'm in, no more purchases that involve DRM PERIOD! You in???? Let's do this thing, NOW!

  • Im fine with DRM, as long as it works but remains non-intrusive. The fact is, though, that most customer service reports for online music companies (napster, itunes) involve DRM trouble. I too have a had problems with a song I bought.

I no longer by any music with drm. Its a shame, because artists get a higher percentage of online sales per song then with a CD.

  • Great video, man. Check out my channel for a tutorial on how to get rid of DRM from iTunes-purchased songs.

  • yeah.....!

  • do you know windows vista? It play with DRM! DON T USE IT!

  • that's the point of the video, to see how rediculous drm is and to show what what would happen if we did the same thing with everyday objects

  • You, my friend, are stupid.

  • Why isn't this coment where it is supposed to be?

  • So.. fucking FIGHT DRM!

    drm . info

    defectivebydesign . org

  • If you buy a DRM'ed song, you can't normally duplicate it.

  • You're right. The original point of DRM was to stop illegal copying, but this video demonstrates that a SIDE EFFECT of DRM is that it prevents you from doing reasonable things with your property too, like sharing it with your wife (who legally owns everything you won in many states) or putting it on more than one computer that you own. At the same time, DRM doesn't actually stop piracy. DRM hurts loyal consumers and doesn't stop fraud. That is why it must go away forever.

  • I wish I could have DRMed my ex.

  • cool vid man

  • why do u guys care about that shit so much... my god havent you ever heard of Bittorrent or Limewire.. argh!

    =]

  • Do you imagine how much people BUY music online? And do you really think gigantic corporate DRM supporters can't close torrent trackers and such? Just step away and see the big picture. DRM gets included into *devices* and *products*, so if you have a product crippled with DRM you only can use it with appropriate DRMed device. You can't just copy it and upload to Limeware or make a torrent.

  • Great video! It spells out the horror of DRM to the ignorant people.

  • Really cool video, have no idea what DRM is though, maybe I'll look it up

  • Digital Rights Management(DRM) is the copying/sharing protection placed on music purchased through online stores like Napster. It was designed to prevent people from copying songs or files and giving them to other people, such as over a Peer to Peer network like LimeWire. However, DRM has been proven to fail over the last few years and it took Steve Jobs(Apple's head honcho) to point it out, and now iTunes is doing away with DRM. Hopefully, other companies will soon follow.

    Clear as mud, yes?

  • what do u mean by "doing away with DRM"???... as far as i understand Apple is one of the most annoying DRM enforcers with i-tunes just look at the related vid DRM=CRAP.... DRM is an essentially good idea to protect copyrighted material gone terribly wrong/annoying/castrating/limiting

  • search "iTunes Plus" on Google. I won't argue that DRM was a good idea, there's just no fool-proof way to implement it, that's it.

  • i agree ... just didnt understand what "doing away" meant...

  • Apple's cornered by major music labels. There is a Steve Jobs' blog on this.

    apple . com/hotnews/thoughtsonmusic/

    (remove the spaces)

  • DRM = Digital Rights Management;Digital Restrictions Management;Digital Restrictions Monster

  • best comment Ive read today.

  • Look at 1:19-1:20. He kind of pauses before falling backwards.

  • Microsoft: This video contains ideas that may require sophisticated MetaphorComprehension(tm)

Are you sure you want to watch this video?

    Yes!

    No :(

  • If I wear his shirt so I can disappear and die? It's

wrong! Jesus hates real-world DRM! But your video is

    great job!

  • you didn't get the point didya?

  • I mean If I using a shirt with DRM technology, it would be

disappearing when I become no-shirt, but luckily, I am glad

I am not woman. I don't have my breasts! LOL.

  • @vikingscool

It was all in the ribbons they wore. When the person with the blue ribbon touched something marked in blue, it worked. But not for the person with the yellow ribbon. The stuff disappearing is a nod to the fact you don't own what you pay for, and the makers of the product can forcibly take what is "in theory" your property.

  • Will all you "Press ALT + F4" people please fuck off from youTube, you are really pissing me, and others off. All these chain messages are a waste of my fucking time that I should not have to mark as spam just because you are being a bunch of assholes!

  • hahah did you really press alt f4? so retarted

  • No, I'm just fucking pissed of with these assholes who think it is ok to waste people's time posting spam messages.

  • Hi,

I liked very much your video. I made one of those with a similar name "Real World". Check that, or other one that I made.

  • nice job of illustrating drm!

  • ADVICE: HOLD on to your old computers and old OS.

I bought 2 new computers this year 07. THey won't even let me burn a CD. and they both came with a CD BURNER. I make my own music and can't even make a CD.

I have to pull out my old laptop that has an older ver of XP SEverice pack 2. DRM is killing home recording. NO coppies alowed .. WEll I'll never give up my 2004 DELL inspiron.. AT least it will burn a CD.

  • wow... it's really sad... it's exactly where we're going...

  • You DO know that you can strip out the DRM, right? Its none of their buissness whether you do.

  • DRM for the selfish generation.

Hey, just don't buy it. It's simple.

  • Don't buy AND don't take it. Ignore it entirely. That's the only way to break big labels and their control.

If they have people's Attention, they'll make money and survive. So we need to take our attention elsewhere; like no-label indy bands.

  • teach them not to share

  • GENTE Q WEN VIDEO !

  • get down DRM :(

  • people could drm the genetic code for a plant OR the species linage and breeding to get that genetic code. Just like how computer "code" is licensed.

  • Corporations have been copyrighting parts of genetic code. That is including human genetics.

  • Lol. This video would be so awesome in RL, people would just go around touching the houses of people they didn't like.

  • good one ;-)

  • Take a single song:

The right for you to listen to it on Windows Media Player Only, cost $0.99

Should they give you the option to cancel for a refund

or sell it to your friend (pass it on)

If that was the option they probably would charge $1.49

for that same file. Due to lost revenue.

  • yeah and a whole album with 20 tracks bought on cd, which you can reproduce/encode limitlessly, would have to cost at least 30 bucks to not let drm look to be overprized, which in fact it is

  • What about the right to play it on the audio/video player I programmed? I also rather be on GNU/Linux. :( Well, it's not like I'd buy anything with DRM. Plenty of good old music to buy DRM free.

  • DRM is funny in that those who pirate get a better product then those who follow the law. Just keep using P2P guys. Don't fall for the elite's mind control.

  • Haha, very good point. If I pay for music, I should be able to use it however I please. But, too bad DRM make that impossible. When will the corporations realize the obvious?

  • Imo, it justifies file sharing more which isn't solving what the industry says is a problem.

  • Does "digital rights management" necessarily mean *restricting* digital files to a device?

What if you could buy a song and have it tied to fingerprint? Like access to a lab. If you "share" the file, it doesn't duplicate, it "changes hands" like a physical thing. Your print becomes part of the digital file. That makes it more like the bicycle. P2P file"sharing" would actually be Sharing. Personal ID gets swapped for someone else's (you have to trust they'll return the song, just like the bike).

  • That's fucking creepy.

  • I'm really enjoying the conversation here. Some very interesting points regarding drm.

As an "artist" I feel drm does not benefit the artist, but enables the major record labels to have a larger future profit margin. And almost all of that profit comes from the biggest bands on the label.

If a fan is aware and honest they will support the artist how they see fit. I don't see a purpose in forcing the money out of a listener's pockets simply to hear my music.

  • "If a fan is aware and honest..."

That's the problem Lots of people aren't honest. Stephen King tried. He sold a book years ago by the chapter. Only everyone started "sharing" it illegally. So the People showed they couldn't be trusted.

  • don't forget that 50 to 75% of all downloaders payed him! that's a very good ratio compared to regular "shareware", which kings project resembled in any way. also his prices grew per chapter and also the quality of his book was criticized by many people. there will always be freeloaders, but that doesn't mean that trust doesn't work

  • Not sure where my previous post went, but to repeat it:

No, 50 to 75% *didn't* continue. When it dropped to 46% (below the honor-system 50%) he did what he told people he'd do... he stopped.

Also, iirc, the price increased but the chapters grew in size. First was small, second a little longer, then after that the size was like doubled.

But hey, if people don't like Stephen King bc of what happened, they should simply stop buying his product. That's how the system works.

  • or if you bought a mac and none of your pc software works on it!!! oh wait...

  • actually most of it does these days, if it won't, there are programs which make it compatible.

    who uses Windows anyway?

  • about 95% of all pc-users...windows is the most used os...trying to make it look the other way around is just plain ignorant

  • take a joke bro

  • Squiggly, can a paraplegic ride a regular bike? Can a gasoline car run diesel? or DFM?

    No.

As for the furniture, that's senseless imo. If it's bc it has to stay with the house - I'd never have bought the house. If people don't like the DRM, then don't buy the platform. Seems simple to me.

  • Ok then what if every house in existence has that feature then what do you do?

  • You live in a mobile home.

    Any more nonsense questions?

  • You completely missed the point. What if every home including trailers had the furniture stipulation then what would you do?

  • We could play "What If" games til the cows come home. But I can give you an answer: I'd live like I do already. Search my blog (via my profile) for a post called "Lifestyle Transgrades". It's years old and discusses how I gave away my furniture almost ten years ago. So my answer is: I wouldn't buy furniture. It's not necessary. And if I *wanted* it, I'd wait for the business that doesn't do stupid things like you're suggesting.

  • I'll make it easy for you: h t t p: //blog. rebang. com/?p=816

  • That can end up meaning you never own anything. Sure a roof over you're head is not necessary you can live in a cave with a fire but would you want to do that?

  • You completely miss the point.

What if people made decisions based on what they truly Need instead of what they Want? People don't need mp3's, videogames, and movies, yet they don't think twice about acquiring them against a creator's wishes.

It's not about whether it's "stealing" something which is intangible. It's about the value we place on the immaterial; and on Time.

No one can touch a Financial Derivative, yet it's having tangible affects. No one can touch Honor, yet people die for it.

  • I am not talking about piracy I am talking about you will end up not being able to buy anything for enjoyment because DRM will make it to hard to make things work.

Take PC games I don't buy them because when I do often the DRM locks me out of the game I paid for.

Also I download music for free because there is no place where I can buy it. I am not going to pay a dollar a song and then they can dictate what MP3 player I use or shut off a DRM server making my paid for collection simply gone.

  • If we're unable to buy bc of DRM, then companies either go out of business or a) remove DRM, or b) turn it into a "management" tool instead of a "restriction" tool.
