Love this song, especially the part where the music all but stops, then slowly starts to come back. It really kicks back in around 322....classic Boston!!!! Brings back so many memories. Thanks for posting.
I somehow tend to forget how many excellent songs this band recorded. they would have been famous for every single one of them, so many makes them a legend
i remember my dad blasting this throughout the entire house and in the car all the time when i was younger, me n my sibling would fight over which song we wanted to play xD, ah that brings back memories, not always good ones but they're memories none the less
This is one of the greatest songs ever ! they did all this with no help from synthesizers or other b.s., and the guitar solo is amazing! I was 11 years old when I bought this "tape".
I'm 40 from the UK and this was the first ever CD (Single) I bought !!! And then got THIRD STAGE!!! The rest as they say is HISTORY!!!! A Very good 1!!!
This song perfectly describes me and my ex girlfriend's relationship. We were really close, then we fell apart and I still loved her so much and she couldn't see what she meant to me. I could never change the way I feel about her, even though we've been broken up for quite some time. I can always relate to Boston songs. That's why they're one of my favorite bands ever. R.I.P. Brad.
In a world where everything is falling apart, and despair is all around,What happened to great music like this, and the carefree 80's man times change, but not always for the better.

BOSTON FANS SHOULD BUY ALL BOSTON ALBUMS. ONLY FIVE; ALL GREAT. NOT A BIG INVESTMENT AND WELL WORTH IT. CHECK ON AMAZON, YOU CAN GET THE WHOLE SET FOR AROUND $40 or $50 bucks. BOSTON ARE AN AWESOME BAND. NEVER FORGET NAZARETH OR BOSTON.
I will never forget the first time I heard this song. It was a watershed moment for me. I've never had such a powerful "first listen" reaction to a song on the radio before or since.
I rushed to the store to buy the 45 and became a Brad Delp fan for life. And yes, Tom Scholz is a genius. Only Tom Scholz could have written the music and only Brad Delp could have sung it.
@bananamankiller777 ODD you made me have to take a 2nd look at my own rip in media player. If you look at the lyrics in the cover though you'll see "Stll In Love" actually plays from 3:00 to 3:26 in the middle of the song. Not afterwards on track 10. It must have been a track typo on the CD or a last minute change at the studio. My version when ripped comes to 5:13 as well, guess I got an extra second from somewhere over 5:12. Oh well, not the 1st quirk I've seen in media player vs a CD.
@bananamankiller777 Another thought just came to mind, being an old school analog freak. XD If you can find an old vinyl LP copy of this? It may actually sound different and be true to what the track order says on the CD. Just a guess mind you
u know, i hear a lot Bostons' songs on the radio & i feel that they're played out. I remember hearing this albulm @ home and feeling like it was a true master peice just 4 me.
