I just seen this last week at the Jan 13-16 2010 Florida Flywheelers. And the model of this that was carved out of wood. Plus many other neat wooden carvings of various toys and stuff. Plus that magnificent clock that is powered by sand and the marbles that come down to mark each hour, day, etc. Anybody have this on YouTube?

@Fredthornton I guess they need one of those "do not eat or poke up ass" warning signs that lawyers write these days. :-(

This just goes to show how well built these machines were back when people took pride in their work.

The text in the video says 300 HP. The writeup you have here says 400 HP. Which is it?

Six-stroke cycle engine with two pistons on either end, ignitor-fired with a relay box to coordinate the ignitino cycle.

how many pistons does this beast have
41Zman 3 years ago
There are only two pistons that ride on a single connecting rod. Each piston is fired upon by a combustion chamber (4) on each end of the piston.
