-when buy a PC, know what you are buying so it will be optimised.

-threat your PC as your eyeball

-know your PC =get less lag when playing or filming.

Oh and illusion of super smoothnes you will get with more motion blur, its "mat_motionblur_amount" or something

The motion blur is a default feature in Orange box games, there is not blur in hl2/ep1.

with this command you can just make the blur bigger or smaller. just type "mat_moio" and there will be a drop down list with possible maches

Gmod recordnize all of the source game maps, so if you want css textures and models, simply make a map for a css and put in in gmod, same with portal and tf2.

If you want to have for example css and portal in your map, first make it for css, then open the map file in portal sdk, your hammer will see errors (becouse portal dont support css) but dont mind it, just put some portal stuff and compile it, gmod will se everithyng perfect. i hopw you get what i mean
