    and i imagine they can't be that appealing to eat, considering they have an entier ecosystem on their back including bacteria only native to the sloth, and a lovely back full of moss... also. their muscles are tiny ribbons due to diet and lack of movement so I imagine even when you did get your chompers into one, it wouldn't be worthwhile at all...

  • they don't escape predators.

    however, they stay so high in the canopy that it's hard for the really dangerous ones to get them.

    they only go down on the forest floor to poop or to change to a different tree (probably for vegetation purposes...)

    sloths are awesome.
