Well the starters can get dodgy. The problems occur over time through multiple dunkings, mud and silt. Clean water from rivers, floods and fords dont pose too much of a problem. The battery wont charge if the alternator is under water but because diesels dont really need a battery when they are running thats not really a problem either. just make sure you leave it running for a good while after it has been under water.

This Lightweight Does not have a coil or a distributor my friend. The description states that it is a diesel. Therefore the ignition is not an issue in deep water.

I saw a pic in a mag recently of a 110 with 2 snorkels one either side. One air intake and the other something to with the heater what would that be used for ive never saw another in any of the landy mags.
