Once a person has so much wealth the next thing they turn to is trying to accumulate power. We put a man on the moon, we can come up with renewable resources for everyone. About our planet, it has survived through much worse than 200 years of industrialization. However at this point I'm pretty unhappy about almost anyone being born, because it's just fucking sick how we multiply just because we've made ideal conditions for ourselves, like bacteria in a petri dish. THE ONLY HOPE FOR OUR SPECIES IS BETTER EDUCATION, POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC STABILITY AND BETTER ACCESS TO MEDICINE (IN POORER COUNTREIS). I have a way of controlling population. QUIT subsidizing the poor. The poor have more kids than they can afford, and the government subsidizes this. If we hold our citizens accountable and people realize there is noone there to support their irresponsible proliferation of children, our population will be kept and check and true supply and demand can exist in the marketplace.
