OMG :/ I play now few days SH3 GWX Gold 3.0 and SH4 also with U boat expansion and I can say something between these 2 games is what I want, but this new one again looks like something missing there ...the "manual aiming" is sooo lame I mean there is nothing to move to adjust O.o just clicking some messages... The crew managment, free moving inside and the water looks cool tought, but thats all about. I like to sink the ship myself not with some uber maps to help LOL .. ARCADE !!!

This looks more like Chicken invaders then Silent Hunter. Cut the crap on graphics and give us a simulation. I want to feel the adrenaline rush when lining up for a shot, not to observe the highly detailed ocean floor. All they had to do is combine SH3 as playing mode with SH4 crew management, and solve the weather problems. That was all! But noo, they have to go 1 step further and turn a simulation in an arcade, but still call it a simulation.

And I can say that this game has all the AI incompetence of SH3 but with better graphics. There is no improvement in gameplay over SH3. So this idiot here is not going to pay for a game he can't play when and where he wants, nor will I pay for a game full of bugs that make a comeback from previous titles.

It seems like they have F**k up the game. Silent Hunter was one of the most nerdy yet addictive and realistic simulation out there. SH5 seems too user friendly with all the bars and stuff floating around.

What was wrong with SH3? Why wasn't repaired? All that I found needy in SH3 was a better crew management and a more playable weather, plus some small things.

du verstehst nicht was ich meine. ein Multiplayer spiel ist ja klar das man das online spielt. aber silent hunter 5 legt großen wert auf singleplayer. aber wieso soll man ein singleplayer basiertes spiel mit einer permanenten internet verbindung spielen? Ich möchte nicht überwacht werden, seih es der bundestrojaner oder spyware made by ubisoft. außerdem geht es keiner weiße um die raubkopierer. ubisoft weiß das nach spätestens ein paar tagen jemand es schafft das spiel zu cracken.
