Maybe so but Chip Foose has pro builders build his rides not a group of average joe car enthusiasts with a couple of full time pros mixed in like with this build. Some of Monster Garages builds did have a group of pros and those cars turned out nicer, like the '54 Chevy old school ride. There were more custom features in that car than any Overhaulin' car I've seen and it was built in less time too.

The truck is an 86. They made that body style up until the half way point of 86 then released the hard body as an 86 1/2. Manufacturers do that every once in a while when they can't wait the extra few months to release the new model.

I only care about the unique, where I live there is like 50 utes dropped on their guts painted green or purple and basically all run stock engine with massive exhaust. They sounds like corollas with cannons and I love pulling up along side of them and just playing with them. 1/4 throttle and I still have like 4 times more power.
