I just had to reinstall windows XP from scratch on my uncles computer (its relatively old - 2005) and it took me 3 hours to figure out that it didnt come with the dell ethernet card drivers. why the hell would the disk that came with the computer not come with ethernet drivers?

i sill have an xp compaq presario 5spxe1 from 2001 still got all the original programs installed and has never been formated it has outlived the dell demension 4400 that i replaced it with and it works better than the dell ever did the specs are pentium4 "williamette" 1.6 ghtz and 1gb of p.c.133 ram i am responding to this vid from it, i just brought it out of extended storage and hooked it up and updated everything and it still works awsome

Windows XP is the best OS ever made. It will never get old, i'm sure even in year 2080 some people will still use Windows xp on a super fast machines.

@iRouRoui No. It will be impossible, as starting from 2013 ONLY the new EFI bios is incompatible with Windows XP, as well as the new chipset drivers. And a PC will never live that long anyway. :P

@adu374 Who told you that? That's not support. That's the ability to downgrade a newer OS to Windows XP (as if you really want to) That support is not useless. What really surprises me is that even though Windows 2000 is "unsupported" it still gets updates that are meant for Windows 2000, but made PAST the unsupported date. I guess MS still likes Windows 2000. I becha $100 they'll do that uptill atleast 2015 for Windows XP.

When I use xp it makes me feel like I fly, It's a BIG improvement from Windows 2000's dull grey colour.

I got xp in 2002 and I still use it to this very day.

From 1991 we went from Windows 3.0 running on MS-DOS to 2001 with Windows XP. BIG LEAP! Now its 2011 and we have Windows 7...not so big of a leap.

I barely get BSODS on XP. Proboaly *sp?* since that is what preinstalled with. I am saving up, so that I can get a Windows 7 laptop!

@WindowsSanAndreas Windows XP was never most hated, but it has several stability issues. Like sometimes it randomly says that it recovered from a serious error without any visible broblems. Gotta love good ol' Windows 2002. :P

XP is horrible. Windows 7 is MUCH better. I use 2000 on a VM on my lenovo, as well as 2000 on my toshiba. I use XP for special purposes only.

@an65001 you know Windows xp is biult on Windows 2000 tecnology. i love windows 2000 like you but today has no suppuort scince 2010. so why i'm not using Windows 2000 anymore? becasue he has no support for new programs like sony vegas, Microsoft office 2010, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 64-bit, a few new games, etc. if you think XP is horrible, good! make a video about it. if you have a video about it, well, how many dislikes have? oh and Windows 7 is much better than 2000 and xp. sorry

@TheNetVistaComputer It is still not the same. I know Windows 7 is better than XP. And duh it wouldn't run an x64 program, it was never designed to be run on the x64 architecture. It was, however, ported to the Itanium 64-bit architecture. And why should I make hate vids about stuff? That's not my thing. And go to BLACKWINGCAT for Office 2010, Sony Vegas 9 etc. He has mods for all that.

Windows XP is the most loved OS ever. Only a few BSODs can occur on this Windows NT based OS. If you use NT technology, its better than ever!

@89990000 :P I got at least 10 BSODs on this XP! People who love it are missing out the fact it is not reliable. My dad lost SO MANY files on XP PC!

@an65001 it was one of the more stable operating systems, much better than a lto of them, your dads file loss was probably also issues with his hardware/hard drive etc. that or he was using non-genuine windows xp disks, shich arent as reliable obviously.
