I was surprised they didn't want big joe turner to sing Kansas City, Joe is from Kansas City and Joe had the first rock and roll song ever in about 1950 called Shake Rattle and Roll. But I guess that's whey they know what they are doing and I don't.

@MWTCC: that's a pretty naive and narrow conception of music. many great composers of complex and challenging music work with computers. a computer is also an instrument, you can make music with it. music consists of notes, sounds, harmonies, rhythm. it's about creativity, originality, imagination. it's not about instruments, instruments are just means to an end. a symphony is a symphony, regardless if there's an orchestra that performs it or a laptop.

I love Fats Domino!! I remember playing this song on my cassette player on a trip back from Colorado back in the 80s. We were passing through KC on the way to Iowa. Grew up with mom playing this one, it was my favorite of all the songs she played. Peace!
