No, natural selection actually is random. Dinosaurs were the most fit to survive, but randomly went extinct because of an asteroid. Fat people are less fit to reproduce than physically fit people, yet the fat population is thriving. Natural selection is not exactly "survival of the fittest" like they teach you in grade school.
I know! I could have spent ages picking apart this stupid video! However, I was trying to do Calculus homework while making this video. I promise, not to do any more low quality stuff like this any more! :)
I thought the quality was decent, the sound was too quite. Shawn's definition of evolution that he talks about is probably his creationist fantasy that it's the usual monkey fish frog morphing into a human in 1 generation, not the actual definition of random mutations & natural selection.
I was busy with my classes when I made this video. I felt I only had tome to simply point out the basic flaws in VenomFangX's argument. To correct everything wrong in his videos seemed like a daunting task.
Its not that the mutations stopped, its that natural selection selected for it form. A octopus may have undergone some mutations that may seem advantageous to us, but natural selection didn't allow the octopus to proceed in that direction because it was not actually anymore beneficial to them. In short, the mutations never stop, matter of fact they occur at a predictable rate. Natural selection determines which mutations are beneficial.
I think he was describing the evolution of octopi eyes. The evolved concave retina but didn't evolve lenses due to the way in which their eyes evolved. "stopped there" was supposed to mean they where unable to make progress evolving the lens in the way we did.
Oh man, the goal post statement was hilarious. Bravo! I laughed real hard. I would really like to see a live discussion between him and someone who knew what was actually going on. He just has no clue. So mislead. 5 stars to you.
PCS is such an idiot. He uses a cat to try to disprove evolution/natural selection, but it is the perfect example otherwise. Tabby cats did not exist until our species domesticated a wild African cat back in Egypt and selectively bread them for a couple thousand years. My cat still possess many of the traits of the very first domestic cats; she's an Egyptian Mau that still looks and acts very wild.
lol venom mong F is hillarious xD love how he tries to sound realy intelligent and at the same time show everyone how dumb and ignorant he is.. he is unreal :D
That scene from Resident Evil, the person (Ramon Salazar, he who "ouch" his hand)) you see has fused with the Giant monster, not mutated! Every big Resident Evil Geek like me know this.. But anyway, further more its a game, and will show nothing like that out of nothing. Hes knowledge of Evolution, Random mutation and natural selection is soo bad!
We had a visit on schoold from a person that has a defect in on her eyes, she only had the white of the eye and the pupil.. She was not able to adabt her eye to Light... (you know the eye, zooms in and out to adapt to Light)
You know what ill find her again, and ask if i can record it and interview her.
Her kids have this Defect too, it is a huge set back for her. Intelligent Selection... my ass! Ill get to work on this right away.
Or... it could be an instance of a harmful mutation. Hell, I have a harmful mutation in my D.N.A. However, there are plenty of examples of beneficial mutations. Just type "Beneficial Genetic Mutations in Humans".
VenomFangX contradicted himself. He says he sees mutations as eyes and limbs growing out in various places and than said that God gave bactiria the ability to mutate so they could survive.
So if there would be a negative mutation for the woman i meet, exxactly the thing she suffers from, then it can debunk "Intelligent Mutaion", because then it would be a not so intelligent mutation
I can not really understand most of that comment. My genetic mutation does not seem to be intelligent as I am loosing my mobility. However, there are beneficial genetic mutations in people. Such as an expanded visual spectrum and increased muscle density.
Natural Selection, if the mutation makes it live better/improved then through sex, the mutation will get passed on, liek in my example, cause we humans dont live in much danger, so her kids have the defective mutation... something your not catching?
As an Atheist i get pretty offended by ppl saying, i am babbeling. Thats not nice, i am trying my best!
That explains my confusion. I thought you were a Creationist. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just posted another part to this response. "The Contradiction".

How is it possible to accept mutations and natural selection WITHOUT accepting evolution?

I think PCS understands evolution, he's just so dogmatic he has to misrepresent it. He's warping it and pulling things out of his arse!

can't you explain the point of your arguement?(like why its not random?)

Indeed it is. Good video overall though.

PCS irritates me so much (not just his ignorance but his smug attitude) that I have to watch his apology video to get myself back to neutral.

Dah VFX is a retard!

I GOT PROOF FOR A NEGATIVE EVOLUTION BTW!
We had a visit on schoold from a person that has a defect in on her eyes, she only had the white of the eye and the pupil.. She was not able to adabt her eye to Light... (you know the eye, zooms in and out to adapt to Light)

Nono, because VFX is right ...
So ill compare it to his Theory there..

yeah, his Intelligent Mutation theory
So if there would be a negative mutation for the woman i meet, exxactly the thing she suffers from, then it can debunk "Intelligent Mutaion", because then it would be a not so intelligent mutation

JRChadwick 3 years ago
Yeah, but if there is both good and bad then, it would debunk VFX's gods goodness and intelligence.
C0ldhead 3 years ago
cause the woman i have met is clearly not a beneficial mutation, and she does not feel like that herslef.
C0ldhead 3 years ago
Now you are just babbling.
JRChadwick 3 years ago
Like I said; mutations can be good, bad, or inert.
JRChadwick 3 years ago
I know that... duh!
Natural Selection, if the mutation makes it live better/improved then through sex, the mutation will get passed on, liek in my example, cause we humans dont live in much danger, so her kids have the defective mutation... something your not catching?
