@BrooklyntoBrixton actually we don't. Habeshas are Semitic speakers while Somalis are cushitic speakers. Cushitic speakers are Afars, Oromos, Somalis, Agews, Sahos and so on. We have a totally different culture, lifestyle, origin and tradition from Habeshas. The only thing that to be honest binds the two groups is geography and I say that with my utmost respect to both groups. I don't mean to offend anyone:-)

Your DNA was mixed. Language doesn't change that. An the idea that Habeshas originated from Yemen is a myth. Historians have proved that Geez was created Ethiopia. The Aksumite empire was native. Somali is a single ethnicity while Habesha are lots of different groups so we CAN only compare Habeshas and Cushitics because it's fair. NOW IF WE DO compare the two groups (Cushitics and Habeshas) we see clear huge differences. So much so that the two groups are as unrelated as Sudanese and Kenyans. They never overlap! completely different races!! Sorry brother but it seems you are very unfamiliar with the region.

An Oromos are directly related to Somali's. Stop separating yourself from you neighbors based on tribal differences. Do you really think groups of people could live right next to each other for thousands of years and never mix or Inter-marry. I know plenty of Somali's who have Ethiopian blood.
