ourpigies are form Petland( no bad comments about pet store pigs, i think shelter pigs don't live as long anyways, plus, our closest shelter doesn't always have guinea pigs) offers a free nail clipping program for a year and you renew it every year and all you have to pay is $9 when you renew or first sign up:) its way safer than me trying to cut her nails by myself

no offense, but i wouldn't reccomend the cardbopad chewalbe tunnels, we got one for our pigs and the next day, it was pooy, and covered in urine, obviously cardboard cannto be cleaned, so we had no choice but to throw it away, but sorry, again, that is just my opinion:)

our fleece doesn't get dirty, by a day and our piggies are not litter trained, were trying, without success:( we done like everything to get them litter trained, we use towels under our fleece, and now we have two pieces of fleece in their cage to make a little area where their food is and stuff. the cage isn't real dirty after a day

i actually got a pet store cage, and its really big. Also he/she could get exersise by getting a playpen because the cage isn't meant for exercising, it's meant for a shelter.

This is a really good shopping list !! really helpful i have it up on my wall as im so forgetful! although i would say that timothy hay is too rich for guinea pigs and can cause health issues later on in life, i use alfalfa or a dandelion mixed hay :)

The vinegar only smells really strong cos you have to mix it with water ( 50-50) that's what I do and it doesn't smell when I drys :) x great video by the way :)

@wolfsheart100 Yes, definitely! :) With muesli, the guinea pigs are likely to 'select feed' which is where they pick out the bits they like and will leave the rest, which means they don't get the full range of nutrients from the food. Plus, muesli mixes often have artificial colours and flavours so it's basically like the 'junk food' of the guinea pig world! Nuggets or pellets are much better - they all taste the same and they don't have any unhealthy or dangerous bits in them :) xx

@ifate59 I change the fleece once a week.. though to be honest, it can go longer than that because it never gets peed on! but its nice to just give it a freshen up :) their litter tray which has Carefresh and newspaper gets cleaned about 3 times a week. and I spot clean once or twice a day. thanks for watching and commenting! :) xx
