You have no clue how hard figure skating is until you're on the ice. Then you have no clue how hard duet skating is until you have to do stuff like this. You have to trust each other whole-heartedly. If you don't trust then there is a major block and moves like the one where he lifteed her up, or even swung her in a circle are impossible. If he had let go, she could have easily gotten ingured. Broken bones with way. But they work beautifully together.

@ItsEmmalicious They used the same piece of music but a different interpretation of the music, a modern choral version of The Dying Swan for the Olympics and rechoreographed the program a bit. I actually like this better.

in the vancouver olympics yuko fell and they didnt have a medal in the pairs figure skating the china took the gold and silver while the germany took the bronze one.

Why must Universal Sports butcher the programs, they left out the jumps and most of the lifts. If they don't want us to post our Olympic favorites, do us a favor and post the entire skate.

The Swan by Camille Saint-Saens been done by every russian pair. Is it because of the great coach Moskvina favorite music? I just would like to see something more updated.

@jerrm4-Protopopovs did this in '60's; Mishekutenok and Dmitriev in 1990,1991..Moskvina competed against the Protopopov's and they were very impressed w/M&D's programs in Lausanne &1992 Olympics w/Dreams of Love which the P's also did. I think enough time has passed between each pair that a different element has been brought to every interpretation. To me anyway, that is something more updated, IMHO. Cheers!
