  • did you have to add a msd or anything to raise to ignition spark when you added this to your setup. what ecu are you running

  • @DILUSI PowerFC and TwinPower for additional spark :-)

  • So big chief how did this all work out? Any reviews to share on success? I've heard great things, curious about buying a kit myself as cheap insurance for the perceived rotary unreliability claims.

I will go single turbo eventually but will be stuck with twins for some time. So heat is an issue and I want to do a few moderate upgrades. Full exhaust system + intercooler + fuel pump upgrade + remap on Apexi ECU etc..

By the way do you have any recommend resources on converting to single turbo?

  • great kit but I think I would go with eletrical pump... I would think there would be a little more boost lag having to pressurize that tank.

  • where can I also get one of these system

  • where can i get one of these i have a 1987 turbo 2 with bnr stage 1 turbo and all kinds of stuff so i could use this.. thanks

  • @INSONIASXPOWER fuck off you idiot . water/ethanol injection is widely used in many peformance cars for many many miles with no issues.

  • @INSONIASXPOWERYOU DONT KNOKW SHIT FOOL

  • pumpless system i like the sound of that,, how much water does it use ? depending on nozzle is it the same as fuel ?

  • What kind of turbo is that?

  • ok so whats the point what happens if it goes into the combustion chamber

  • When water goes into the combustion chamber, it reduces pre detonation considerably. Additionally it "steam cleans" your internals so you have less carbon build up that can act like a glow plug and pre detonate the fuel. It's a reliability issue when exceeding 15 psi on pump fuel. Water = reliability. Alcohol/meth = more fuel/power (colder intake temp)

  • well put.

  • @dgkidek9 ok the idea in the basic is good but you WILL need lot of pressure to itemise the water (gas or diesel)

also for turbo you might want to go external (but i wouldnt bother.why steam?cause it need less water just warm the wter on the turbo and exaust manifold (cooling them in the process inject steam in high pressure fuel injector or such in a specific area of rotor of each .was done previously very aften enropean truck engine maker have it already

  • That sure is a nice kit! where can I get one haha. Whats up Rob, was just posting your video on a couple other forums and thought I would leave a comment.

  • im going to be running aux. injection myself. i picked up an alky control kit for methanol, no more detonation for me :)

this is a HUGE piece of equipment for any rotary user to get. this essentially solves the heat issue of the 13B that causes pre-detonation. it also cleans our engines out of the carbon that builds up causing apex seals to get stuck, etc.

  • @rx7fd9782 We should compare and contrast as summer rolls around. I'm doing all water an you meth. I've heard great things about 50/50. I'll post more vids on my results. Stay in touch

  • Have you thought about using water/methanol instead of just distilled water? Or will that mess with your tuning too much?

  • @ghaberek Water doesnt adjust my tuning. BUT, if i get crazy, i would be interested in 50/50, i have to get comfortable with all the new toys

  • so what are the gains??i have been thinking about it for a while will it work on my twins or should i just do a intercooler spray bar..iam thinking intercooler will be easier.

  • This injects water into the combustion chamber. reduces Exhaust Temps. drastically reduces knock. Intercooler spray bars (external) and Methanol injection both affect intake air temps for more horsepower. Before water, it was foolish to boost above 15psi on pump gas because of predetonation.

  • iam boosting 12 psi 350+hp stock twins ported non sequential i have a uncle with a fd 475 hp 93 octane 20-23 psi no detonation that i know of hes had it like that for over 5 years he runs low low 11s high tens street car..

  • nice. yea i ran 13psi on stock twins and it was fine for 20k miles or so. ive blown my engine before that tho.

This also heightens the compressor map, meaning that you can get more boost from the turbo.

It scientifically reduces knock, not just opinion. cooler combustion chamber, the less likely you are to predetonate. mazda knew this and made the car run rich, as extra gas is a coolant as well. unfortunately, at 1/10th of the effect of water.

  • I want your money, time, and garage...

  • @maxenmity7 I want your love. Love love love I want your love. I thought you were singing a lady gaga song :-)

thanks! It sucked working on my car when I lived with my parents. I promised myself I would afford a garage to work on my rx7. I did :-)
