True story:I worked ALOT in front of a computer screen at the homeless shelter I lived in last year to sell my new record.I stared so hard at the PC-screen that my tearchannels got all messed up so I actually started crying blood after awhile. But the work payed off eventually. Point being that this whole time working on promoting my new record I listened to this song on repeat for two months straight. After u read this,don't go into my profile or anythting.Just realize the awesome.of this song.

The Streets were on Mike's & Teddy's own record label The Beats which went bankrupt after Warner Music Group closed deals with Sub-Label's for funding (which is why Mike wrote this song around the time the label ended due to lack of financial support). Mike Skinner has recently been featured on a new release by UK rap artist Giggs entitled Slow Songs. New album from The Streets is expected in 2010.
