@SuperZVegeta I must admit, I have got it wrong cause i've been on XBL for 9 years. It all started when Rainbow Six 3 came out, what a classic. My XBL says 8 years for some reason. Anywho, you have to get the Vita, it's an amazing bit of kit. Will try and post some NY launch party vids later.
PS3 is too expensive and so are the games. I can only afford games for the 360, Fable II was £4 for me and i beat the main plot after hearing Teresa say "and so our story begins" about 4-5 times. good investment i'd say.
ps3 has 8 cores but games cant use those cores unless the game company making the games have another 100000000000000 dollars in their pocket and will sell the same. even less sometimes and the company losses money and the controller is better in structure and skyrim is better on xbox and on ps3 lag glich ugly..... CRASH!!!!
Both are pretty good i used to play on xbl but i switched because so much ppl on xbl think there the MLG of the system but other then that they are both great

BTW, i'm in NY at the moment and going to the PS Vita launch party tonight and considering getting one cause it's $100 cheaper than the UK.
i prefer ps3, becous range of its games. There is games to childs and adults... and ofcourse free live playing... When I look games to Xbox nearly all of them are pegi 18 or games whit guns (not so good in English I am...)
@drddude00 I've been on Xboxlive for about 10 years so I have spent at least £400 just for playing online!! PSN has improved so much over the past couple of years and is really good for a free service. This will be the first year I won't be renewing my gold membership to Xboxlive.

well before i had a ps3 but i recently sold it to get an xbox n the only reason for that is because nearly all of my friends have an xbox, and to be honest they have no difference what so ever, they both have their ups and downs but their pretty much the same thing. :D

Don't mean to stick my nose in here but you can get PlayTV for PS3 which means you can watch, pause and record live TV on your PS3 cause I have one and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Plus anyone who says the downloads on PSN are slower than Xboxlive are wrong cause it's down to your connection speed. I've noticed my PS3 downloads alot faster than my 360. I downloaded the trail for GC Imposters on both consoles and PSN did it in half the time compared to Xboxlive. Both systems are hard wired.
@Mutt No man i tested my speed on both but i meant 2gigs or higher it takes about 3 hours on ps3 and on xbox about 20-40 minutes and as for the live tv i have no clue but im pretty sure it would cost something if its some sort of cable box. My point was that cable charges 10 monthly for a cable box but my xbox uses its self. so my question is where you got this live TV and how much is it? because i don't see it on ps3 except movies apps and hulu plus and im pretty sure they cost.

It's a little box which you plug into your PS3 and this allows you to watch and record live TV at no extra cost and no monthly fee. Played the PS Vita today for the first time and I'm hooked, it's an amazing bit of kit. Just deciding whether to get it when I'm in New York soon cause it's region free and cheaper

@SuperZVegeta There is a video on youtube, showing a hacked PSVita playing Battlefield 3 remotely. I have heard that when it's fully released next week there will be an update to allow full remote play. It's got built in memory but only 512MB, it's just a shame you can't use SD cards. Only found out on Saturday that you can play ps1 games straight from disc on ps3 slims cause the shop assistant was remote playing a ps1 game which was in the ps3 so I tried my copy of MGS, it worked!

Yeah. You're saving "Wayy" more having to pay for the AA batteries the controllers need, the games cost more than PS3 games, and the live is 60 bucks a year where PS3 live is FREE, and the controllers get charged. PS3 also has a blu-ray player, you don't need to go out and buy one.

One there are also features on ps3 that Xbox does not have. Two there should not be a debate the consoles purpose are exactly the same. Third opinions really don't matter because in the end neither company is going to quit selling their product just because more people prefer their rivals product. I have a PS3 and am happy with it, but I would like to get an Xbox sometime, even just for Forza 3. In my opinion it is better than GT5. As you said in your video, it's perfect to have both.
I have both xbox live and playstation network in my room. They are both amazing, i think the xbox is awesome because it has a built in microphone and ps3 because it has lots of space.

Now microsoft and nintendo is possible since sony use to be with nintendo why do you think every time nintendo brings a new ds then sony does the same this was back when the nes came out so yeah microsoft could partner with nintendo but sony already broke that partnership. And lastly, I like the PS3 because of it's exclusives. Games like Killzone, Grand Turismo, and Uncharted are practically unbeatable. And PlayStation Move? The motion control blows out Kinect. Those are my reasons.

The PS3 has an up to 8 controller multi-app (same as PS2) and if you have the PlayStation Vita, you can play PlayStation Network with some games. Basically you'd be playing a game on a handheld system with somebody playing a PS3. That's a really big break through in gaming. The PS3 has an online community which is more resistant to hacking and modding. And you can stay in a server without hearing cussing RIGHT in your ears with X-BOX Live. Don't believe me, check out videos by @MrRayge82
1:20 XD. Okay, I like the PS3 better because I love the motion control I get with some games, usually racing games, for one thing. It is more resistant to overheating, and has better graphics. It also has a light controller that DOES NOT need battery, only to be charged. The controller fits your hands well, and I do like it better than the 360 controller, though I don't really have a problem with eh analog stick on top.
I would prefer Xbox over ps3 because even though the psn is free there are more hackers on it than 360 I think that having to pay to play online will decrease the number of hackers so that is y I like 360 I've ps3

I have had an xbox 360 since 2006 and I still play it a lot. Now I'm going to buy a Ps3 aswell (mainly because of the bluerays but also because of some good exclusives) Xbox 360 will be my Multiplayer Console (CoD, Halo, Gears) and Ps3 my Movie/Exclusives Console.I think both are great.

Yeah. You're saving "Wayy" more having to pay for the AA batteries the controllers need, the games cost more than PS3 games, and the live is 60 bucks a year where PS3 live is FREE, and the controllers get charged. PS3 also has a blu-ray player, you don't need to go out and buy one.

One there are also features on ps3 that Xbox does not have. Two there should not be a debate the consoles purpose are exactly the same. Third opinions really don't matter because in the end neither company is going to quit selling their product just because more people prefer their rivals product. Both systems can be hacked and modded. I'm a die heart Xbox fan but like gadgets said there is no difference. And I will be getting a ps3.

The PS3 has an up to 8 controller multi-app (same as PS2) and if you have the PlayStation Vita, you can play PlayStation Network with some games. Basically you'd be playing a game on a handheld system with somebody playing a PS3. That's a really big break through in gaming. The PS3 has an online community which is more resistant to hacking and modding. And you can stay in a server without hearing cussing RIGHT in your ears with X-BOX Live. 1:20 XD. Okay, I like the PS3 better because I love the motion control I get with some games, usually racing games, for one thing. It is more resistant to overheating, and has better graphics. It also has a light controller that DOES NOT need battery, only to be charged. The controller fits your hands well, and I do like it better than the 360 controller, though I don't really have a problem with eh analog stick on top.

PSN is free, Xbox is 360 cost 60$. The controlers on xbox sucks and needs batteries. The xbox almost only got forza and halo. I dont like those games at all. PS3 have Unchared 1,2 and 3. Gran Turisimo, Kill zone, God of war, ratchet and clanc, sly cooper ect. And hd collections like jak and daxter, shadow of the collosus, sly ect. Xbox has 50% to get red ring of death. I have had an xbox 360 since 2006 and I still play it a lot. Now I'm going to buy a Ps3 aswell (mainly because of the bluerays but also because of some good exclusives) Xbox 360 will be my Multiplayer Console (CoD, Halo, Gears) and Ps3 my Movie/Exclusives Console.I think both are great.
