@thruthem I could see and hear the video, so I guess emi forgot about one of the two largest economies in latinamerica and a very large market for pink floyd music since the 70s. Greetings from Mexico
whatsup with the intro and outro? is this official.. the ending really fucked up my mood dude.. i was probably about to go OBE, but that last bit caught me off guard. thought it was the fucking devil dude.. fuck...
probably the most underrated pink floyd song of all time. They were working under a tight schedule to meet the movie production deadline abut their creative peak was right at this moment. Its a Dave Gilmour song just as all the best Floyd songs are.
Bought this album at a flea marked for $4. The cover was ruined but the LP was mint. An early release on solid thick vinyl. It is probably the main reason why I keep my turntable spinning.
Brilliant song Brilliant clip Just brilliant full stop David Gilmore, you're a gun. I'm unwell and everything is complete in my life, I have just 1 request, to meet you and talk with you. I listeb#n to Obscured by clouds everyday, and meddle. But mostly Obscured. They keep me content , positive and strong. Thanx for the awsome tunrage GO THE FLOYD Ange
I think the two Barbet Schoeder soundtracks are on equal setting with more established Floyd, the most amazing thing was the weeks of time versus months or years, to get the material done, and they did!!
Even though David G didn't write lyrics like Roger, the few songs he did write alone like this one, Fat Old Sun,etc. are pretty good. He should have had more faith in his lyric writing, he certainly can write music, however !!!!!!!
You're accurate in saying that, as FloydHeads know, about Ummagumma, it wasn't Gilmour who warmed to the idea of making his own song for the album, but they all are fun and interesting, and I think maybe Ummagumma was the one they were not happy with all in all. Fans seem to warm to it. Grantchester Meadows blew me away the first time I heard it!!
I love this song it reminds me of carl segans pale blue dot, how we are unimportant to the rest of the universe and how war and death aren't worth arguing over, and yet.....
Thanks for re uploading this very important video in widescreen format. Now it looks a lot better on my widescreen monitor. Hopefully someday more people will learn to protect and appreciate this planet on which we live rather than pray and prepare for its apocalyptic destruction.
Truely magnificent. I'm sure that Carl Sagan would have used this on his television program.

This song goes beyond genius and I don't have good enough words to describe it.
It gives me a shiver down my spine and makes the hairs on my forearms stand straight every time I listen to it.
Sometimes I ask myself if this isn't the greatest song of all time!

His Missusnis pretty good with lyrics though. Besides i thik \gilmour was always more intrested in the actual music side.

He said he liked the music side better, but these few songs he did write by himself aren't bad at all...thanks for the reply ! My best to you..
