Actually out of the ones that they want to demolish, at least 3 out of the 4 were flooded. The only one that might not have had significant flooding was the ones located between N. Claiborne Ave. and Basin Street. They were in horrendous condition before the storm, and worse condition now. The mixed income neighborhoods will give former public housing residents the same opportunity to live in them as before, with section 8 assistance and other forms of aid.
