Interesting video, I enjoyed watching it. But mathematical proof doesn't prove a God cannot exist. Mathematics can also prove that 1 = 0 or that an infinite sequence can be summed to an actual answer...things which don't actually transfer to "reality" or the non-math world. consider first the perfect order of the events that took place for the universe to exist. the events and features of our own solar system that all took place for life to exist. each and every event too occur (even if only a few to happen successively) consecutively is mathematically and virtually impossible without some sort of fine tuning or design. Man was created in God's image but when man sinned and rebelled against God we developed a sin nature. In essence, man is "broken" in that he has lost his perfect nature. That is why we are worse than God; we have lost our perfect nature because of our sin against God. And even when God created us, He did not make man equal to Himself; having the image of God may refer to our having a soul and the ability to reason and think. The Bible is not completely clear on this.

(1) no where does the Bible teach worshiping the crucifix, nor do I worship it. The cross is a symbol of an act; the act of Jesus loving mankind enough to die for us. It is similar to a soldier dying for another soldier and the survivor keeping his friend's dog tags in remembrance of the sacrifice of his friend. That's how I view the cross; it was the love of Jesus Christ that resulted in His death.

(3) I don't know if we know exactly when Jesus Christ was born, but I agree with you, it was most likely not in December. Christmas is just a day chosen to celebrate an event: the birth of Jesus Christ, Who is the Savior of mankind. This makes no theological or Biblical difference; it's just a day chosen to celebrate. As to why that date...there's a lot of talk about Dec 25 actually being a pagan holiday prior to the Catholic church hijacking it for political reasons. Not sure how true that is.

They've become new species only because they can't be crossed back with the original parent stock for various biological reasons. A biological "kind" allows for new species but not new genes. Nature has no ability to invent new genes for new traits. Only limited variations and adaptations are possible in nature, and all strictly within a biological "kind" (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.).

Mathematics can also prove that 1 = 0 or that an infinite sequence can be summed to an actual answer...things which don't actually transfer to "reality" or the non-math world. Not saying math is invalid, but that while the math is interesting it doesn't prove that a God cannot exist, a point which was displayed at the end of the video.

consider first the perfect order of the events that took place for the universe to exist. the events and features of our own solar system that all took place for life to exist. each and every event too occur (even if only a few to happen successively) consecutively is mathematically and virtually impossible without some sort of fine tuning or design. Man was created in God's image but when man sinned and rebelled against God we developed a sin nature. In essence, man is "broken" in that he has lost his perfect nature. That is why we are worse than God; we have lost our perfect nature because of our sin against God. And even when God created us, He did not make man equal to Himself; having the image of God may refer to our having a soul and the ability to reason and think. The Bible is not completely clear on this.

(1) no where does the Bible teach worshiping the crucifix, nor do I worship it. The cross is a symbol of an act; the act of Jesus loving mankind enough to die for us. It is similar to a soldier dying for another soldier and the survivor keeping his friend's dog tags in remembrance of the sacrifice of his friend. That's how I view the cross; it was the love of Jesus Christ that resulted in His death.

Christmas is just a day chosen to celebrate an event: the birth of Jesus Christ, Who is the Savior of mankind. This makes no theological or Biblical difference; it's just a day chosen to celebrate. As to why that date...there's a lot of talk about Dec 25 actually being a pagan holiday prior to the Catholic church hijacking it for political reasons. Not sure how true that is.

Your conclusion doesn't follow. The reason a set of all possible sets can't exist is because it would need to be in itself, which can't happen. A universal set of powers CAN exist, because the set itself is not a power.

This video is interesting, but there's one premise you failed to prove. The definition of God being an omnipotent being (and therefore a universal set). If what you are trying to disprove is strictly such a being, then congratulations. However suppose we were to define God as a being whose power surpasses the combined power of the rest of existence? EXPLAINING HOW AN AIRPLANE WORKS doesn't mean no one made the airplane. Explaining how life and the universe work don’t mean there was no Maker behind them. WHAT IS SCIENCE? Science is knowledge based on observation. No one observed the universe coming by chance or by design, by creation or by macro-evolution. These are positions of faith. The issue is which faith science supports. Natural laws explain how an airplane or a cell works, but undirected natural laws cannot bring about either. Once there's a complete cell, the code/mechanisms exist to direct the formation of more cells, but how did the cell originate when there was no directing code.

THE ODDS of the sequence of molecules in a cell coming together by chance are similar to the odds of magnetic letters randomly bonding together in a sequence to form all the words and sentences in a dictionary. Without the right sequence, a cell's molecules won't work. Amino acids can come by chance but not proteins. Without DNA there can be no proteins and vice versa. Gradually won't do. NATURAL SELECTION DOESN'T PRODUCE ANYTHING. It can only "select" from what is produced that has survival value. If a variation occurs that helps a species survive, that survival is called being "selected." That's all it is. There's no conscious selection by nature. It's a passive process. APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST prevents macro-evolution. Natural selection wouldn't preserve the evolution of new traits because they wouldn't have any survival value. A partially-evolved hand evolving from a previous trait, partially-evolved tissues, organs, biological structures would make a species unfit for survival. There are no fossils of partially-evolved species. All species of plants and animals in the fossil record are complete and fully-formed. They came into existence as complete!

NEW SPECIES: Although new species have come into existence, they don't carry any new genes. They've become new species only because they can't be crossed back with the original parent stock for various biological reasons. A biological "kind" allows for new species but not new genes. Nature has no ability to invent new genes for new traits. "JUNK DNA" ISN'T JUNK: Recent research shows that these segments of DNA are vital in regulating gene expression (when, where, and how genes are expressed). There's no room for random mutations to operate safely. Random mutations, from radiation, are destructive. For every good one there would be hundreds of harmful ones with the net effect, over time, causing extinction, not upward evolution. Most variations are from new combinations of already existing genes, not mutations.

My initial response was that 'this guy obviously hasn't done enough of the right kind of drugs' to come to 'any' conclusion about God, my 2nd insight was that ..'these guys just don't have anything better to do than pick a fight with GOD' because God gave them small dicks and a big calculator. I agree with you that it is unlikely that there is a God, and you do give proof of that. But, given the right amount of time and imagination, in theory, you can mathematically prove that a chicken is always a duck, never a dog, and sometimes a kitten. Math can be easily manipulated to produce the results that someone wants to see, especially when theory is involved since theory is not always fact. Also, you're arguing with a very stubborn demographic. Haha.

I would just like to say, for this argument to even happen I'm going to be ignoring all of the different plausible theories about how the big bang occurred. Theories that you obviously have never heard.
If your problem is that there is no possible way the big bang could just occur on it's own, then I will just say that the same goes for the existence of God. Where did God come from? (continued)

So your argument of saying the big bang cannot just happen out of thin air actually provides leverage for the opposing argument, since the existence of God(the creator of everything in the beginning) can be compared to the happening of the big bang(the creator of everything in the beginning).
I don't discount the possibility of God's existence, but when people blindly argue, like you, it doesn't help.
