the least interesting of Rare Bird's melodies actually - an absolutely stultifying dirge, replete with sanctimony. Truly horrible dirge. deserves ignominy and oblivion. Epic Forest - now there's an album of melodies!

Ale powiem Wam - trzeba ten utówr umieścić obok HELP - THE BEATLES. jak by nie było, zespół trzech płyt czy czterech, ale pomysły Sympathy - na miarę "Schodów do nieba" a wcześniej.. Proud to say that Steve Gould is my cousin. Never had the pleasure to meet him, but did meet his Mum & Dad a few years back. Lovely people. This track really should be an anthem of today let alone 1970! Hope one day someone picks it for an ad and gives Rare Bird the airing they deserve.

If you are looking for "Epic Forest", it was available as a cd with bonus cuts and the 1st (?) album was available on cd as "Sympathy" with a few extra cuts on it. I got both a few years ago. Still listen to them.

Hugely talented musicians with great lead vocals and harmonies. There five albums Rare Bird, As Your Mind Flies By, Epic Forest, Somebody`s Watching and Born Again are all now available on CD (some with bonus tracks). Check out also Kevin Lamb solo album "Who Is The Hero" now available on Japanese Import. These guys are never out of my car - simply a joy to listen to!

I really like their first two albums - it's a unique music and literally extremaly vary RARE BIRD:) I have also a copy of "Epic Forest" but comparing to first two albums it's quite dissapointing... It sounds for me like some poor version of Traffic mostly... But this organ-bass songs are really far out!
