Well...he´s no Körberg that's for sure! Good voice but people shouldn't do this song, noone can do it as well as Körberg (no matter how nervous this fella is). But he's a great singer!! But he's lacking all of the power and the emotion that this song needs to touch eep inside.

I've just caught up on the final, couldn't watch it cause too much college work, I was so fucking happy when Jai's name was called! Paul Pott's performance never moved me, but everytime I watch this I cry so much.. "HOWW CAN I LEAVE HERR?", it's so emotional and humble :'). I also love the girl's reactions to him because it's exactly how I am when I watch this; it's just triumphant.

Amanda and Michael were wincing at the beginning because Jai's start seemed more thin than introspective. Probably due to his nerves, but man, oh man, did he turn it on. "Anthem" is a tremendous song and Jai's pitch, power, crisp pronunciation and vocal quality more than do it justice. Listen to his "long before nation's..." at 1:24. That single word "before" is beautiful! Like a perfect stroke on a canvas. He'll need to find other songs to showcase his talent. Best voice on BGT this year.

Ugh, I really do hate to be the one to disagree with most of the comments here but this was a passable performance. In the company of the greats who have sung this song its awful. TBH, I have friends who blow this guy out of the water. But this is not his fault, he's up there doing it and getting the plaudits and props to him for that. I see a lot of simon bashing comments, but truth is that these types of shows suffer without his presence, once we have already been exposed to him. another example is that american idol has no credibilty with its current lineup of judges. Randy is the only one I can stand.
