  • I got the box set of this on DVD and honestly, you can easily watch it as an adult. Try it!

  • I used to love this show, no matter how f*cked up it was... I mean that episode with the ghost on the dunny? Didn't go for a pee for two days.

  • Only the first 3 series were any good (stories written by Paul Jennings).

  • Like if you are an 80's/90's child and DAMN PROUD OF IT BECAUSE THIS WAS WHEN KIDS WERE KIDS AND TV/THE UK WAS GREAT!!

  • @Sas26100 i am a 90s kid and if you look at the crap there is these days then i lived in a golden age of kids tv

  • @hihihihihihihihihify the big burp

  • Yeah I have to agree with @MadHatter3Z3 here... Does "Josef Fritzl" sound like an Australian name? Or more Austrian? Wow. I don't know people mix them up. I'm Australian, and my Austrian friend and I can't figure out how people don't pay attention to anything.

  • FUCK THE 00'S!

  • @JackRabbitSlim aha, i agree, shows like this prove aussies (not all but many) have become anal-retentive uptight snobs! i love pre mid-90's or even pre- 1990 was the real deal.

  • @xBilabong69x i love round the twist too

  • Comment removed

  • reminds me of goosebumps

  • Even though Josef Fritzl came from Australia, I still like this show.

  • @MrBoBoTom

He's AUSTRIAN. After all the media coverage that man got you thought he was Australian -.-'.

  • Man she's got some eyebrows on her!

  • INTRO CHOCK-FULL OF RETARD

  • @frubo Same here. Rainy days were great, I actually didn't like this show (idk why) when I first started school, but by the time I left primary school, I loved it.

  • Probably the most fucked up kids show to ever be seen on the ABC.

I liked that episode where Bronson found that turtle and he had to take it somewhere and he also had feet that smelled so bad it caused people to fall unconscious after smelling them.

It makes you wonder what Paul Jennings was smoking when he came up with the stories for this show.

  • @MetalPatrick93 i know rite! i read one of the paul jennings books and it had all the stories in there from this show! i was dissappointed in him.

  • @MetalPatrick93 whatever he was taking i would like some

  • @MetalPatrick93

i had one episode where his bellybutton fluff came alive or something lol

  • @masterjustin45 are you talking about monster under the bed

  • @MetalPatrick93 It was an off mussel hahaha

  • @MetalPatrick93 I thought the Australian Television Network was Seven.

  • @MetalPatrick93 or pissing on the tree that makes YOU pregnant. loooooooool.

  • @MetalPatrick93: I think the name gives away that the plots are supposed to be off the wall....?

  • @MetalPatrick93 without my pants!

  • no doubt

  • I had a massive crush on the sister.

  • MIND BLOW DUE TO OVERLOADED NOSTALIGIA!

I used to watch this and then go to school when I was little and it was on that time haha

  • Things were awesome back then. Wow, 1989?

  • I used to watch this every morning before school, and it used to creep me out! Loved it though! :D

  • @bakeey Remember the ghost on the toilet? That still erks me!

  • OMG respect from Canada!

Growing up in Canada in the 90s, our kids channel was called YTV (youth tv). And since being from Canada we got a lot of British and Australian tv shows, including Round the Twist!!! I just saw it on the of the screen and feraked out b/c i totally forogt about this show! In Canada we grew up on this show too! SO GOOD! ... Thanks Aussies!

  • @TheItalianStallion33 Thank Paul Jennings I think it was.

  • 2/2 lighthouse while Gribbs is jealous of Pete and Fiona's relationship and is trying to break them up.

Ariel is the main character who embarks on magical adventures in each episode (like Pete, Linda and Bronson in the previous seasons).

  • 1/2 If there is ever a fifth season of Round the Twist, it should be set 12 years after the forth, baby Ariel (now grown up) is living in the lighthouse with Tony and Faye, Pete is married to Fiona and living in Nell's house, Nell has since passed away, Linda has become a Nurse and works alongside Matron Gribble (who harasses her constantly about Dad selling the lighthouse), Bronson has gone to university, Tony still has trouble from Gribble who is still trying to get the Twists out of the...

  • @cHeStEr5434 LIGHTHOUSE!!!!!

  • @MrMickthemonster What's your point?

  • @cHeStEr5434 "Tony still has trouble from gribble who is still trying to get the Twists out of the..." My point.

  • I miss my childhood so much I want to cry :(

  • I spent my entire day singing this song to anyone I could find, just because I couldn't rememeber it's name-the relief

  • Was there exploding mushrooms in one episode?

  • I would love to watch this show again................Without my pants!!! :P

  • Awesome show. This and Neighbours are Australia's major only cultural gift to the world!

  • Certainly was '89 - Bronson gets himself a Commodore Amiga in the first episode and in 'Spaghetti Pigout' he's got Pete connected to an Atari 400/800 (not sure exactly which) measuring chewing rate... back then you had to program your own games if you wanted to play something no one else had. Now it's all off the shelf. Sad.

  • Man that theme song is catchy

  • This and paul jennings invented imagination for 10years of children in Australia, this song is burned into my brain. My god its beautiful

  • Once I got older I watched the show all the time but when I was 6 my logic was it's not a cartoon, therefore it sucks.

  • I just remember the episode where the guy gives birth to a baby out his mouth.

  • @Slamexo wasn't it because he had a pee on a tree?

  • Nothing beats the original... Do you have the closing titles (with the full theme song) as well?

  • Who calls their kid bronson

  • I USED TO WATCH THIS ALL THE TIME.....

  • I remember when this was on tv in england, children were forever sending letters to the tv channel telling the presenters to stop talking through the song. After a year of this the presenters acknowledged the requests...which they said during the song, lol

  • the spider jiggled where!?? O.O

  • genuinely wierder and scaryer than some films from now times

  • @nunchuckerz Fully agree. Young people these days don't understand the true terror of a 90s childhood!

  • Little bit worried that I still remember the lyrics for this HAHA! :)

  • like if you had the privilage of growing up in the awesome times of these cartoons/games shows of the late 80s and early 90s :)

  • @MrJJuK1 like? erm I don't think this is Facebook. How about a thumbs up?

  • this needs to be my ring tone

  • Have you ever, ever felt like this?

When strange things happen and your feeling off your tits

  • What has become of Bronson???

  • Without my pants!!

  • 1989? Just realised how old i really am! Seems like no time haha

  • It is a crime and the Tv companies will burn in hell for not showing these shows today.

  • remember the one with the doll that was living and stood at the end of the bed? that was so fucking scary, gave me nightmares!!!!

  • @htcoolio 'Toy Love' - hell that was creepy as - kinda like 'Chucky' adapted for a G-rated show.

  • Huff the pong!

  • They were still playing this in the mid 90s weren't they? My god, our era was terrifying... and yet I'm intrigued to go back.

  • The scarecrow one

SCARED THE SHITS OUT OF ME WHEN I WAS A KID!!

  • Williamstown Primary School! Before the renovated it all. This is what I remember from Prep :)

  • i still remember the giant mushroom episode!

  • One person went to school, without his pants

  • oh I remember this. I was thinking about the song but couldn't remember the name of the show. I knew it had "twist" in it. I think there was one episode with a meremaid in, wasn't there?

  • @overfiend87 Yeah, I vaguely remember that one, too.

  • The Gumleaf War, Santa Claws and Spaghetti Pigout were my total faves out of this series

especially the various computers Bronson owned - the Commodore Amiga in 'Skeleton on the Dunny' and the Atari 800 measuring Pete's chewing capacity in 'Spaghetti Pigout'

  • I wanna be a kid again!!! Instant fav

  • I think I remeber watching this

  • this is where i heard the about the bird not family guy :D

  • I used to LOVE watching this as a kid, and this one, with the original kids in there was the best, they repalaced one or two of the kids in the family...and it was never the same.

  • It was the only Australian show that I ever watched on Brazilian television.

  • @biscoito1r what about alana, the chick from future. bet you watched this one too.

  • I seem to vaguely remember seeing a naked breast in this show, which started my puberty.

  • @fro7k Holy shit-balls me too! Just trying to remember who's tit that was...

  • TRIPPY

  • What happened to Adam Schubert - The original Bronson?

Cant find any record of him, my little nephew looked just like him when he was a nipper, I want to compare them now!

  • Damn! You just took me back in time about 20 years! I was a bout the age of the little kid there at the time and the older sister actually looks like my sister used to at the time :P

  • Comment removed

  • i looooooooooooooooved this programme, but never knew the linda twist actress sang the fab theme tune.

  • I'm pretty sure the only episode of Round the Twist people remember is when one of the lads wees on a tree, becomes pregnant and he gives birth through his mouth.

  • thank you Australia for giving me some great tv shows over the years.

    from Britain.

  • 1 Person has never felt like this.

  • GREATEST KIDS/Pre teen show ever!!!!! Every I know in work knows this song too lol,

  • I remember this on Children's ITV here in the UK, I loved it...Seeing Judith McGrath and Richard Moir was surreal after seeing them in Prisoner when they were younger, around about the time this aired...Poor Richard I read that he had to quit acting because he was diagnosed with MS or something in the early 90s, I read it on Wikipedia ages ago, so I might have got the illness wrong..Did anyone else hate the way the cast kept on changing actors/characters?..Thank you for the upload :-)

  • This was a class programme

  • 1 person has never "felt like this", "strange things" have never happened, and they've never been "round the twist".

  • I was born in 1998 and I still remember this show!

  • @zombieoutbreakprod Wow, really, you're about 13 or 14 and you remember this? I think I remember watching this back in the mid 90's, how was it still around for you to watch in the mid 00's (which would be around the time you saw it if I guess correctly)? New series or reruns?
