Anime is definitely a newer thing for me. XD I recently got re-hooked on Bleach (I was super into it when it first came out in 2004) so I'm really excited to be using it now. It's really really fun to edit with anime. @_@ I'm thinking I'll definitely be using it more often.

I've never seen Bleach, and Disney/anime videos usually make me stop after a few seconds, but yours kept me interested and I'm really glad I watched the whole thing. :)

Overall this video was good, I liked many of the color schemes that match the texture of the music, and I liked the effects/ moving camera. Better than I can do, but that's not really a compliment. So it's good that you have patience with that. A lot of the scenes didn't really 'pop' for me with this song, as well as the electric club feeling. I think you were going for a representation of the movie's themes, but the structure was unoriginal, so mainly the effects carry it. That may be why
@ebolaoutkast it feels slightly flat to me, but the effects are a nice achievement anyway that create a video-y feel that matches well, especially with the time frame and program limitations. I just needed a stronger sense of scene coherency.
Most of the clip choices are scathingly disappointing to me. This video is definitely an effect-based one, though I'm wishing I balanced it out more. x) I'm gonna try and do that next time for sure.
mesh all of the movies and intertwine them into a tangled story and mood. It's a beautiful talent to have. You get a well-deserved five stars for this video, a favorite, add to my playlist, and a feature.
This video really deserves it.

And I really am curious as to how you managed to pull that off to look so effortless.
The chroma was spot on, minus that one Simba during the "haters" part. But I will dismiss that, for I have never attempted the chrome of that scene, so I don't know if it can be pulled off by anyone.
Overall, this video is eye-catching from start to finish ( you couldn't even imagine th amount of times I pressed the replay button ), the colors are fantastic, as well as the timing. You managed to (cont.)
Some more points I'd like to make are that the colors are great, the construction and work put into this is just exceptionally. I especally love "there's a thousand yous, theres only one of me". Really great.
The text overlays must have taken a lot of work, I've tried that before and it seems like too much work for such a subtle effect that you can only catch some of the time. the multi-scene panning was brilliant. (cont.)
The layered video skipping ( ie. 1:54 and 2:27 ) was really effective, I think it had just the effect you were going for, if not a better one.
What else must I say? It was one of the more enjoyable videos I've watched. The construction of it was really brilliant. Timing was spot on, scene selection could not have been any better.
Though I really loved the picture-in-pictures at 0:56 , the one at the top and bottom of the screens seemed to me just a tad (cont.)

Now, before I nit-pick before, let's balance this with what I liked. Well, your subtle and almost effortless attention to detail was beautiful. The not-quite-black but dark transitions in the beginning of the video really worked. At the linear blur and other blur effects fit the mood. Now my favorite part would have to be 2:46 to 3:02. I loved the pics and how the clips paused and continued to play.. that looked really stylish and creative! Made the video look like a collage, or news report LOL xD That was candy for the eyes!

Anime is definitely a newer thing for me. XD I recently got re-hooked on Bleach (I was super into it when it first came out in 2004) so I'm really excited to be using it now. It's really really fun to edit with anime. @_@ I'm thinking I'll definitely be using it more often.

@Keyinei i can't describe what the colours feel like to me... but y'know, blue. red. electronic and power. quite literal THERE xD 1:32 onwards where it kind of got more eye catching imo =D but yeah, traditionally fitting scenes which you could still squeeze some spice into with your effects, and btw I love the threshold here. ending was gorgeous, i don't know how you managed all THAT when you were so low on motivation! gd job

Awesome video! Love the moving "windows."
I like the way you used text to focus on the Daft Punk lyrics at the beginning, as opposed to the Kanye ones. I also liked your use of threshold and the subtle text behind the video.
The only bit I didn't really like was 1:57 - 2:13, just because it didn't seem to make sense...?
I've never seen Bleach, and Disney/anime videos usually make me stop after a few seconds, but yours kept me interested and I'm really glad I watched the whole thing. :)

Overall this video was good, I liked many of the color schemes that match the texture of the music, and I liked the effects/ moving camera. Better than I can do, but that's not really a compliment. So it's good that you have patience with that. A lot of the scenes didn't really 'pop' for me with this song, as well as the electric club feeling. I think you were going for a representation of the movie's themes, but the structure was unoriginal, so mainly the effects carry it. That may be why

And I really am curious as to how you managed to pull that off to look so effortless.
The chroma was spot on, minus that one Simba during the "haters" part. But I will dismiss that, for I have never attempted the chrome of that scene, so I don't know if it can be pulled off by anyone.
Overall, this video is eye-catching from start to finish ( you couldn't even imagine th amount of times I pressed the replay button ), the colors are fantastic, as well as the timing. You managed to (cont.)

Some more points I'd like to make are that the colors are great, the construction and work put into this is just exceptionally. I especally love "there's a thousand yous, theres only one of me". Really great.
The text overlays must have taken a lot of work, I've tried that before and it seems like too much work for such a subtle effect that you can only catch some of the time. the multi-scene panning was brilliant. (cont.)

The layered video skipping ( ie. 1:54 and 2:27 ) was really effective, I think it had just the effect you were going for, if not a better one.
What else must I say? It was one of the more enjoyable videos I've watched. The construction of it was really brilliant. Timing was spot on, scene selection could not have been any better.
Though I really loved the picture-in-pictures at 0:56 , the one at the top and bottom of the screens seemed to me just a tad (cont.)

Now, before I nit-pick before, let's balance this with what I liked. Well, your subtle and almost effortless attention to detail was beautiful. The not-quite-black but dark transitions in the beginning of the video really worked. At the linear blur and other blur effects fit the mood. Now my favorite part would have to be 2:46 to 3:02. I will say this honestly that this video is WAY better than sex and butter toast. I was like shizz she did this sexy video on Sony Vegas Studios. This video really shows that you can work well on what your given. Despite the fact you were given a limit on tracks you really made this one hell of an amazing video. I enjoyed the color schemes and the text you used. Here's a little tip to avoid any audio glitch re-render your videos in wmm. Also I can send you a plugin to give you 3D if you want

How you froze the clips and moved from box to box was such epicsauceyness... ;3 The use of your effects was BEAUTIFULLY done. I liked the contrast of the clips and the linear blur O.O The chroma keying was done so perfectly. So glad it wasn't slabbed in like some.... blehk.
