yea no microphone can pick up the sound right i have tried it several times just made a horrible noise did not sound NOTHING like the engine at all..... nice 350 buddy i have one im going to put in a 54 willys jeep truck :)
A work in progress. Stock cam, It will sound alot better when the exhuast is complete. Nice motor, I love drag racing, I have a big block, but right now im biulding a small block. Im using the same carb.Good luck with the out come! Nice motor!
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice V8 in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
dude nice set up but loose the suicide air cleaner, its foam....if that thing ever back fires youv got a fire. a friend of mine who we now called "fuck tard" had that air cleaner and a glass fuel filter, he had a back fire racing and the glass fuel filter smashed and his MINT 72 nova is dead, burnt to shit....throw a weind blower on it :P itll look better

This thing sounds awesome! I'm 14 and I was wondering what cam are you running? Also I'm trying to build a 350 for my first car, 74 monte carlo, and do you have any recomendations? I just bought edelbrock aluminum 2.02's and a holley 750, but was wondering what pistons bottom end setup to run to make around 400 and a bit horse? Also what exhaust is that? It sounds amazing?!?

Wow, nice sound! It's got that angry "Pure Machine" Chevy sound. It's a mechanical flat tappet cam? I got to know what the cam specs are. Lift, advertises, @ .50 and Centerline.
My guess is .50 lift, 270 advertised 230 @ fifty and a 108 centerline. Am I close?

I woundnt recommend that air cleaner, used the same one on my car and the filter started flacking off into the carb
