I have worked in construction and I am telling you that most of the guys in it now are close to retirement. So I don't know were we are going to get people to work in the industry because no one wants to work in it. Remember without labourers nothing gets build. None of the fat cats are going to come down from their ivory towers to build it. And just because someone has a university education doesn't make them any smarter. Just look at some of the retards we have in government.

No entanto, o dicurso é de que o português sabe usar perfuradoras e construir prédios, um canadiano não podemos dizer que o preconceito está presente: "deixemos o português a trabalhar nas obras, já que ele sabe, e vamos nós ser os seus patrões!"

I'm Portuguese and as I first saw the movie - i thought "WOW, it's a great satire what they're saying here of the Conservative People in Canada or elsewhere in the world".
But what happens is The Portuguese that are shown here are still under a prejudice, that they are ONLY construction workers.
They can use tools and build buildings, but this canadian can't.MEANING: we should all let them have the construction jobs, and we canadians will sit behind the desk and be their bosses.
