This game is actually kinda old. It was released in '07 for the PC, and there was originally a multiplayer version but since the company went under there's only the single player left now.

OMG yes! Hellgate: London was released as both a multiplayer AND singleplayer game. The multiplayer part is over. You can read more about that on other parts of the net. BUT the single player version is still very much alive. U could probably get this game on amazon or ebay. My advice is pick it up. Since multiplayer is gone, shouldn't cost more than $10. It's a shame the company has been killed, so no future Hellgates, unless they change their minds. :(

This is a FANTASTIC video. I miss Hellgate something fierce. Horror FPS & MMORPG combined. It had such great potential, especially if you've ever seen the Test Center content. OMFG! That was OFF THE HOOK. Graphics nearly DOUBLED in Test Center. Bring back HGL or come out with HGL 2!

the game is boring because it is repetetive and all levels keeps on repeating the same atmosphere, buildings and such. But i still like this game :) because of the graphics and the playbility.

The cinematics are great the game its self is maybe a 5 or 6 out of ten... but that rating drops as of January 31st when the online play is dropped.. And no this game is not being further developed since Flagship has supposedly gone under.

Personally though I think it would be great if the Open Sourced the game so it could be upgraded and modded by the community.

If u wanna know how the gameplay is, u have to ignore the girl. Only watch the guy. U can jump but only up and down and in the whole game there is no need to jump. Only walk and shoot or beat. Also u should know, that u cant wear these armors and weapons together. Only these armors and swords, or ugly armor and these guns. And u have nothing to do but kill the demons. And every level looks like the same. But if u dont mind that, the game is fun. If u mind that, buy devil my cry ;)

It can get pretty repetitive, but its still fun enough. If you liked Diablo 2 enough to play through it repeatedly, there's no reason you can't do the same with Hellgate.
