My grandma told me today that she had met this man while he was drifting. Apparently he came to the bar she was working at and he was questioning her about where she lived and if she worked alone. It scared her bad and she didnt say anything to him. To think, this is the man who may have killed off the generation I came from...

Reminds me of that murderer that used to make exclusive friends. He was an isolated person that was very much a recluse, Ronald Sherwin. He would then invite them to his house for a movie or dinner. He would put a drug into their food making their posture and dizzy. After that he would take them and cut them all over their body until they bled to death. He then would cut their body into small pieces and use other pieces of other bodies to recreate bodies by sowing them together.

That reminds me of some crazy mexican drug cartel fucktards that used to capture university-level students who traveled to Mexico during vacations, then pose as cops and "arrest them" by taking them to their car (in their intoxicated state). They'd then decapitate and bury the bodies, and even use barbed wire tied to different body parts so they could pull out body parts once sufficient decomposition had taken place. Fucking sick shit; authorities made them dig many of them up(stench and all).

He did kill a lot but not the 300 or so he originally claimed. They could substantiate many based on his knowledge of details. He got away with so many because there was no defining MO or signature and he drifted all over the place. He was a nobody, killing where no one knew him. He would show up, strike, leave. The police never, until his confession, linked the crimes. We didnt have DNA or AFIS as it is today, or a link between many likely would have been made.

I agree , EVIL people who serves absolutly no purpose and lives of tax money should be removed. Though it is horrible when the wrong man is executed for a crime, I read about it some where..Rock-solid proof should be necessary. I live in Sweden where we dont have death penalty, but we recently had a intentional childmurder, with a very twisted man who commited it. Its known as the "Engla" case, dunno if anyone outside sweden ever heard of it though.I wish the murderer eternal pain and death.

I was working in a bank in Austin, Texas in 1986. Henry Lee Lucas was brought into the building to see a Dr. Bounds. As he was escorted through the back of the bank he turned and stared right at me. His stare was black and cold and PURE EVIL. I remember getting chills. Even though he was escorted by 4 Deputies and in shackles, he was threatening. I have never felt evil like that before. One thing this documentary ignores is the FACT that Lucas did kill the poor old woman in Ringold Texas, he did murder his common law wife, he chopped her up, and they think him and Otoole murdered some people. But he was anything but an innocent man.
