this is one of the best games ive ever played, i got this game yesterday and i got slowmotion mod, all settings on high on a onboard videocard it runs perfectly, but sometimes a little lag, its a real good shooter and you really need to think how to continue at some parts

@SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 Counter strike was a sideways move - there were many multiplayer FPS games out there and CS did nothing new, just used a great engine and refined the gameplay a little. HL2 was ahead of it's time as far as the engine goes, and was a worthy successor to the great original. But again to pay homage to predecessors then Quake 1 was LIGHT YEARS ahead of it's time. It made Half-life 1 and so many other games possible. Quake gave the freedom to us gamers, and the game developers.

If it's on an AM2+ Socket board then you can upgrade to any new processor that isn't AM3 based.

yup anytime. remember any game that u can play on xp u can play on vista. cuz its an upgrade not a downgrade. though make sure u have a lot of ram. for vista i recommend 2 GB though 3 GB would be better.

u do kno i was running on medium settings and i had to convert it from avi to wmv. o and youtube converted it wen i uploaded it. u shouldve seen the raw file. that was very detailed.

ok this is wat i do to record my games. i use fraps to record first. now as u kno fraps doesnt compress it at all so the quality will be excellent but the file will be huge. itll be avi. then i use windows movie maker to convert it from avi to wmv. this drastically reduces the file size though it harms the quality. also i recommend this. wen u record a game switch the resolution to 640 by 480 and on fraps or watever program u use to record choose half size. itll make it 320 by 240.

yea wen i recorded this video my ram was 2GB though i had an integrated geforce 6150 LE. so the only thing that was medium was reflect world, trilinear, and no AA. i think.

yea i got a 7600 GT so now all my settings are up all the way. you'll see it in my two new videos of half life 2 that i just put up. its point insertion. its not long though at least the graphic quality is better. though even with my new dual core the video still lags wen i record with fraps. you'll see it. the lag spots. its not much though its there.

lol. well actually i found out it wasnt fraps it was half life 2. apparentlly all source games suffer from the stutter problem cuz i tried recording with doom 3 and it worked perfectly. no lag. no stutter.

lol. game cam? wats that. well apparently i found out another thing. in games that dont suffer from stuttering the sound lag appears. if uve watched my sven coop videos then uve noticed. the sound lag could be from 2 things. one fraps or two my integrated sound card. so i dont kno which one is it. i need to compare with other users of fraps who have an integrated sound card. also tell me more about this game cam?
