well the true teles have the kick and boot pick ups thats what there called i dont know all the specs on them yet but the sound of the 72 actully pretty good ill prob do a rewiring job on them to get them to there full but the sound none the less is pretty nice
it goes for bout 900 here im workign on gettin an older person to sell me there true 72 tele from 72 but itll cost me 4000 but itll b worth it hopefully
hmm quite expensive also..i cant afford that price ler but pls let me know how it sounds if u get to try it..i heard that the eletronics are different..original 72 is using CuNiFe pickups wtih 1meg vol & tone pots compared to alnico with 250k vol&tone pots in the reissues..
nice playing man im looking to get a 72 tele also lol how much u pay for urs? im not used to hearing tht kind of sound from a tele there usally used for country or blues but the tele originated to be a country style guitar
Thanks. it's a japanese model, i got it new for 740USD including shipment. I was just into jazz recently, planning to get a jazzbox then but at the end i decided to get a more versatile semihollow..i like the warmth frm this guitar, but i think it's not thin & twangy enuf for blues & country..what the price of this guitar in yr country? =)
