actually, for new players, the "achievements" in Corruption actually let you unlock concept art, galleries, soundtrack, dioramas, etc.

His name is just Ridley, and I think he was in games before Metroid Prime 1, either the original metroid or metroid zero mission, one or both of those have him, and I'm pretty sure Riidley's first appearance wasn't in Prime 1, I think he may have actually been in Super Metroid too.
