It seems that the bold 9700 carried by the american carriers have a brighter keypad.

I have the Telus version and I was hoping the keypad would've been brighter. Oh well.

This is really a wonderful phone, I believe that telus does not give their exhisting customers the best offers like there new customers get. I hope to get this phone in the near future. Thanks for the review

You can select 2G and 3G. 3G is only available on Telus, Telus does not have an edge network.

What i mean by this is that telus only offers a 3G network they do not offer an edge network. were rogers offers a 3G network and a edge network to fall back on. so an Edge only device will not work on a telus account.

Bold 9700 by far is the best BlackBerry out there. i love the tour i had that device befor the bold but the bold 9700 is the best mash up of all the blackberrys. and its on the HSPA 3G+ network! Thanks for watching.
