With hard head you can break stones with your head. I think I recall there being a little known fact that hard head in the overworld acts as an alternative to power slash as you can break stones. As you upgrade power slash it also "upgrades" the strength of hard head. At power slash level one you can only destroy regular rocks and so you can only break regular rocks with hard head. When upgraded, so on and so forth.

at least the wii version's Blockhead Grande's weak points have a more even "ding" distribution

the PS2 version's "ding"s were so uneven, it'd make you remember the longer "ding"s better than the shorter "ding"s

Why record it? Dry erase markers work so much better and can be used for the PS2 version...just mark them with numbers as fast as you can that way you can see exactly where they are and the order...that's how I beat it!

i had so much trouble getting that blockhead. I tried useing dry ereas markers and that still didn't help, I got my mom and niece to help and even the three of us together could'nt get it, and in the end my mom had to get a camera and record it and i had to watch it over and over and do the marks one by one. I understand that a game is no fun if its not difficult but when its so difficult that its practically impossible then that is no fun.

For Blockhead Grande, I got a second person to watch, and we each memorised 4 of his 8 weak points. That way it’s easier to get the locations and order, as you only have to memorize 4 bits of info at once per person.

Actually I was reading on the Official Okami wikipedia Amaterasu is FEMALE Shiranui (in the English version of Okami and Okamiden) is MALE and Amaterasu is the reincarnation of Shiranui. So Chibi's grandFATHER is Shiranui and his MOTHER is Amaterasu. So Ammy is female

Hardhead is "Upgradable" I put that in quotes because if you start with small rocks and then large rocks and then upward you can actually headbutt DIAMOND rocks and get them out of your way. It's quite comical really.
