The MX Revolution becomes a dead mouse if you upgrade your Windows XP to SP3. Not sure about the VX version.

Get the VX Nano. Small, no dock (two AAA batts), long battery life, tiny USB receiver, very convenient.

i have this mouse and if you press the scroll button by default[you can always change it]you choose from friction scroll to frictionless scroll.the cool thing about it is that it switches electronically not by a spring or something like that, and the bottom button is to turn it off and on you dumb bitch it has 13 fuctions

love my MX.....had it since it came out.....and with the MX you have to have the mouse on and then click the scroll button to go into hyper speed scrolling.....highly recommended for gaming....no lag until battery has about 1 bar...and charge lasts very long too...

He hasnt a clue, its a motorized rachet system. when its not connected to pc or without software the default is to freewheel or if you click the scroll in it turns to click scroll. thats not the perk when you have software its automated to a desired scroll speed and it switches between click or freewheel depending how fast you scroll. all he did was turn the "power button" to turn the mouse on the idiot lol, which default is setting is freewheel mode. unbelievable :)

My god he is stupid. "No resistance or clicks on the wheel." Right after he flips off the power switch, thinking that it controls the wheel resistance. You press the wheel down, and scroll, then left click to re-enable the click. I have owned this mouse a tad over a year, only complaint is that I forget to put it on the charger. I'm working on making an inductive charger for it.

Hyper scroll is fully customizable. Can be engaged by center click, can be always on or off, can be set to automatically engage when you run certain programs, or my favorite, by velocity. My wheel is click scroll until I flick it quick and than it auto shifts to free spin. It's the best.
